In the Senate, it has been represented by Republican Glen Vilhauer since 2025. In the House, it has been represented by Republicans Matt Roby and Josephine Garcia since 2025. [1]

Geography

The district is located within the city of Watertown in Codington County, located in northeastern South Dakota. The district is completely surrounded by the 4th district. [2]
