Bath CC Men’s 1st XI won the ECB National Club Championship in 2021.

It has three adult teams and a youth section ranging from under-nines to under-fifteens. The 1st XI plays in the West of England Premier League, Wiltshire division. The club teams play their home games at Trowbridge Cricket Club Ground which is also the main home ground of the Wiltshire County Cricket Club.
Dorset & Wilts 2 South is an English Rugby Union league, forming part of the South West Division, for clubs primarily based in Dorset, sitting at tier 9 of the English rugby union system. Promoted teams tend to move up to Dorset & Wilts 1 South. Relegated teams used to drop to Dorset & Wilts 3 South but since that division was cancelled at the end of the 2018–19 season there has been no relegation. Each year 1st XV clubs in this division also take part in the RFU Junior Vase, a level 9–12 national competition.
Dorset & Wilts 4 was an English Rugby Union league, forming part of the South West Division, for clubs based in Dorset and Wiltshire as well as the occasional team from Somerset. Promoted teams moved up to Dorset & Wilts 3 North or Dorset & Wilts 3 South depending on geographical position. Due to a lack of teams the league was cancelled at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 1989–90 Wessex Football League was the fourth season of the Wessex Football League. The league champions for the first time were Romsey Town. Runners-up Newport (IOW) moved up to the Southern League after this season.

It began on 1 April with a round of university matches, continued until the conclusion of a round of County Championship matches on 23 September. Three major domestic competitions were contested: the 2014 County Championship, the 2014 Royal London One-Day Cup and the 2014 NatWest t20 Blast. The Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast were newly created competitions as from the 2014 season, replacing the Clydesdale Bank 40 and the Friends Life t20.

Peterborough Town have two senior Saturday XI teams in the Northamptonshire Cricket League, a 3rd XI team in the Huntingdonshire County Cricket League, two Sunday XI teams in the Rutland and District Cricket League, and an established Junior Section, who play in the Higham & District Youth League.
