Southbound Fearing are an American Christian rock band, who primarily plays Christian alternative rock with rock and roll. They come from Toledo, Ohio. The band started making music in 2006. They have released three studio albums and two extended plays, with Red Cord Records. The group have charted eight songs on the Billboard magazine Christian rock songs chart.

Background

They formed in April 2006 in Toledo, Ohio, while their members are lead vocalist and guitarist, Brady Leonard, leading guitarist, Eric Ade, bassist, Eric Nelson Wheatley, and drummer, Nathan Ball. [1] The group are a Christian rock band, where they play a rock and roll style of Christian alternative rock inspirational music. [2] [3] [4] [5] Their group got the name from a street in their hometown. [5]

Music history

The band commenced as a musical entity in April 2006, [1] with their first extended play, The Arduous Task, that was released on May 16, 2010, with Red Cord Records. [6] Their song, "Miles", peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard magazine Christian rock chart. [7] The subsequent extended play, Safe and Sound, was released on September 30, 2010, from Red Cord Records. They released, Southbound Fearing, on August 2, 2011, with Red Cord Records. [8] Their songs, "Irresistible" and "Fighting Words", peaked on the Billboard magazine Christian Rock chart, at Nos. 6 and 9, correspondingly. [9] [10] The third studio album, Bad Dreams and Melodies, was released by Record Cord Records, on October 9, 2012. [11] This album saw three songs, "The Love That Never Fails", "I Heard the River", and "Vale Tudo", peak on the Billboard magazine Christian rock songs chart, at Nos. 10, [12] 17, [13] and 21, [14] respectively. Their subsequent studio album, Undefeated, was released on May 27, 2014, from Red Cord Records. [2] [15] This album got two singles, "Easy Way Out" and "Brave New World", to chart on the Billboard magazine Christian rock chart, where they peaked at Nos. 6 and 7, correspondingly. [16] [17]

Embers in Ashes are an American progressive rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, and they were formed in 2010. Their members are Jeremy Bates, Drew Duvall, Ryan Jackson, Andrew Hargrave, Robert Paul, and Mike Tobey-McKenzie. They released, Outsiders, with Red Cord Records in 2012, and this saw one of the songs, "Then You Came", chart on the Christian Rock charts published by Billboard magazine. The group released, Killers & Thieves, in 2014, with Shamrock Records, and three songs charted on the aforementioned chart from this album, "Into My Arms", "The Mirror", and "What Matters".

Sons,, formerly Sons of God, was an American Christian music band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They started making music in 2007 and disbanded in 2008, only to reform in 2009, and disbanded again in 2013. Their members were Aaron Newberry, Ethan Kattau, David Gedders and Chris Erickson when they finally disbanded, with former members being Jordan McGee, Alex Rust, Kyle Laster, and Michael Lopez.

Patrick Ryan Clark is an American Christian musician. He released an album, Translation, with Foreverything Records, in 2006. His subsequent release, an extended play, Search and Rescue, was released in 2008, by Foreverything Records. The first studio album, Where Would I Be, was released by Word Records in association with Warner Bros. Records and alongside Curb Records, in 2011. This album saw, two singles released, "What Was I Fighting For" and "Mercy", chart on various Billboard magazine Christian songs charts. His most recent release, Lifted Up, an extended play, was released in 2013, from Word Records in tandem with Curb Records. The extended play got one single, "God Is Able", to chart on two Billboard magazine Christian songs charts.

Till the End is the third studio album by American metalcore band Phinehas. The album was released on July 10, 2015, through Artery Recordings and is the band's first release through the label. The album debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.

Foreverlin is an American Christian alternative indie rock band, and they are from the cities of Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming, where the band started making music in 2012. They released, an extended play, Per Sempre in 2012, followed by two studio albums, Long Lost in 2013, with Red Cord Records, and, Still After in 2014, from Pando Records. In 2017, Foreverlin released an EP entitled You Remain, which features covers of worship songs, the Doxology, and an original worship song.
