Space Aliens Grill & Bar is a small regional chain of outer space-themed restaurants in the U.S. states of North Dakota and Minnesota. There are currently three locations. The company was founded in 1997 and is currently based in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Space Aliens opened its first location in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1997. In 1999, a second location opened in Fargo, North Dakota. The owners then decided to turn the idea into a franchise. The first franchise opened in May 2003 in Waite Park, Minnesota, followed by a second in Albertville, Minnesota in 2006, and a third in Minot, North Dakota in 2006. The Minot location closed in 2012. A fourth franchise opened in Blaine, Minnesota in May 2007 but closed in October 2010. The newest location opened in January 2009 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, but closed in 2012.
Space Aliens restaurants are characterized by futuristic-looking exteriors with a large domed ceiling in the center of the building, painted to show a view of outer space. Statues of aliens and other themed objects are displayed throughout the restaurant. Some restaurants also feature Galaxy Games, an arcade room. The bar area is called The Bar from Mars, with a party room called Area 51.
Space Aliens is best known for its barbecue ribs and fire-roasted pizza. It has a wide selection of other food, including steaks, hamburgers and quesadillas.
Space Aliens founder Mort Bank gained national notoriety in 2012 when he sold a gallon of "McJordan BBQ Sauce", from his time as a McDonald's operator, on eBay for $9,995. [1]

Sister station KVLY-TV in Fargo/Grand Forks is also considered a member of the network covering eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota, but originates its own programming and newscasts. Fox programming is also not shown on KVLY-TV. KVLY's sister station CBS affiliate KXJB-LD is not available outside of the KVLY viewing area. In 2023 as part of a rebranding, all four stations rebranded under their respective call letters.

WDAZ-TV's news bureau and advertising sales office are located on South Washington Street in Grand Forks, and its transmitter is located near Dahlen, North Dakota. Despite Devils Lake being WDAZ-TV's city of license, the station maintains no physical presence there.
Famous Dave's of America is a chain of barbecue restaurants primarily located in the Midwestern United States, serving pork ribs, chicken, beef brisket, and several flavors of barbecue sauce. Dave Anderson, an Ojibwe-Choctaw who served as the head of the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs from 2004 to 2005, started the first Famous Dave's restaurant near Hayward, Wisconsin in 1994. The restaurant chain grew throughout the United States and Puerto Rico in 2014, though all of Famous Dave's Puerto Rico locations closed after Hurricane Maria. It has 180 locations in 33 U.S. states as of 2021 and four international locations, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, and Winnipeg.
Kirkwood Mall is an enclosed regional shopping mall in the city of Bismarck, North Dakota. At 850,000 square feet, Kirkwood Mall is the second largest mall in North Dakota, boasting over 90 shops. Opened in 1970, it is also the largest shopping center in the city. The mall's anchor stores are I. Keating Furniture & Flooring, Ashley HomeStore, Scheels All Sports, JCPenney, and Target. There is 1 vacant anchor store that was once Herberger's. The mall is located in the downtown district.

The Fargo Marathon is an annual road running marathon in Fargo, North Dakota, first held in 2005. Most years, it begins and ends inside the Fargodome, and the course also travels through Moorhead, Minnesota, Fargo's twin city. The event weekend also hosts a half marathon, 10K, and 5K.
