Spaceship Collective, [1] is a Nigerian Entertainment company, known for housing a record label and music publishing company, that is majority owned by Burna Boy imprint Spaceship Records, for owning the largest share of the company. [2] Its record label and music publishing units includes, Spaceship Records, and Spaceship Publishing. [3] The company is headed by Bose Ogulu.

The company was founded by Bose Ogulu, in Lagos. Its music division Spaceship Records, was founded same year, with a publishing unit Spaceship Publishing. Its key people includes [4] Bose Ogulu, and Burna Boy as executive, Ronami Ogulu as creative, and branding executive, Ronke Ogunmakin as admin manager, and Ella Bimpe as creative, and branding assistant.

On 24 September 2020, Bose Ogulu rebranded Spaceship Collective, and introduced the key players of the company. [5]

Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, professionally known by his stage name as DJSpinall, is a Nigerian disc jockey, record producer, songwriter, label executive, and media personality. He first gained prominence in 2004, while working as a radio DJ at Raypower 100.5 FM. He later joined Industry Nite where he promoted underground talents at the weekly platform. He was the official DJ to Wande Coal while he was affiliated with Mavin Records. He created a style edge to his outfit known as TheCAP, tracing his roots back to his culture. TheCAP, which fans tags as "TheCrazyAzzParty" has since then been his brand power and identity. Prior to Aprill 2021, he went by the stage name DJ Spinall. Same month, he started an Afromix series on Apple Music, on 15 April 2021, Spinall released an Afromix, EP 1 and hosted a television show, Smirnoff Infamous Mix on MTV Base, Soundcity TV with a podcast series on Audiomack and various radio stations. On 6 April the same year, Smirnoff Infamous Mix first episode featured guest appearance from Wurld.

The album is the follow-up to his debut extended play Redemption (2016). Described by the singer as a mixtape, Outside consists mostly of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae and road rap. It features guest vocals from English musicians J Hus, Lily Allen and Mabel. Outside was supported by six singles: "Rock Your Body", "Streets of Africa", "Koni Baje", "Sekkle Down", "Heaven's Gate" and "Ye". Its production was handled by various producers, including Juls, Leriq, P2J, Jae 5, FRED and Phantom.

The album features guest appearances from Jorja Smith, Jeremih, Damian Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Angelique Kidjo, Serani, M.anifest, YG and Future. It was supported by eight singles, including "On the Low", which won Viewers' Choice at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival, "Killin Dem", which won Song of the Year at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival, among other awards; and "Anybody", which Burna Boy performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

The album is a mixture of Afrobeats, Afrobeat, dancehall, pop and hip hop. It was produced primarily by Telz, along with production from Rexxie, Timbaland and DJDS, among others.
