Spaceship Records (also known as Spaceship Entertainment or Spaceship), is a Nigerian based record label founded by recording artist Burna Boy, as a flagship of Spaceship Collective. The label was launched in 2015, and is home to recording acts, Nissi, and Burna Boy. It also houses producer LeriQ, and Telz. Artists formerly signed to the label, include Bnxn.
Spaceship Entertainment, [1] was founded on 18 February 2015 by Burna Boy. In 2020, it began to operate under the name Spaceship Records. The record label, was relaunched under Spaceship Collective, and currently holds the highest share in the company. Spaceship was established following Burna Boy's departure from Aristokrat Records, [2] a record label owned by Piriye Isokrari.
In 2020, Burna Boy signed LeriQ, [3] Nissi, and Telz to Spaceship. On 16 April 2020, Burna Boy unveiled the signing of Buju. [4]
Buju's departure surfaced after his one years deal with Spaceship expired in April 2021, [5] during his stay with the label, he released and promoted, various singles with Spaceship including "Lenu (remix)" with Burna Boy, and "So Lonely". [5]
Spaceship was nominated for Record Label of the Year at The Beatz Awards 2019. [6]

Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon (born 15 August 1980), better known by his stage name Timaya, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is from Odi, Bayelsa state, Nigeria. Timaya is known for combining Nigerian pop with elements of dancehall, hip-hop, and soca, as well as Afro-Caribbean/Dancehall music. He is the founder of DM Records Limited, where he is also signed.
Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian record producer and singer. He founded the record label Mavin Records in 2012, through which he has signed artists including D'Prince, Rema, and Ayra Starr. Prior, he co-founded Mo' Hits Records with D'banj in 2004, and was an in-house producer for American rapper Kanye West's GOOD Music from 2011 to 2013.
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Born in the Ojuelegba suburb of Surulere, Lagos, Wizkid is a voice in the emerging Afrobeats movement. His music is a blend of Afrobeats, afropop, R&B, afrobeat, reggae, dancehall, and pop. He began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. In 2009, Wizkid signed a record deal with Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E). He rose to the limelight after releasing "Holla at Your Boy", the lead single from his debut studio album, Superstar (2011), which also spawned the singles "Tease Me/Bad Guys" and "Don't Dull".

He rose to stardom in 2012 after releasing "Like to Party", the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013). In 2017, Burna Boy signed with Atlantic Records in the United States to release his third studio album, Outside (2018).

He achieved recognition for his work on Burna Boy's 2012 single Like To Party, and went on to produce the singer's debut album L.I.F.E (2013), and Twice as Tall (2020), which earned him an award at the 63rd Grammy ceremony.

Afrobeats, not to be confused with Afrobeat or Afroswing, is an umbrella term to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s. Afrobeats is less of a style per se, and more of a descriptor for the fusion of sounds flowing majorly out of Nigeria. Genres such as hiplife, jùjú music, highlife, azonto music, and naija beats, among others, were amalgamated under the "Afrobeats" umbrella.

Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, also known as DJ Tunez, is a Nigerian-American disc jockey. In 2015, DJ Tunez signed to Wizkid's record label Starboy Entertainment. DJ Tunez's first production was in 2016's "Iskaba", a "contagiously upbeat track" featuring Wande Coal. He has collaborated with other acts such as Wizkid, Sarz, Burna Boy, Busiswa, Reekado Banks, Damibliz, Omah Lay, and many more.
Twice as Tall is the fifth studio album by Nigerian singer Burna Boy. It was released on 14 August 2020 by Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit, Atlantic Records and Warner Music. Recording sessions took place in 2020, with Burna Boy, American singer and songwriter Diddy and Burna Boy Mother Bose Ogulu serving as the record's executive producers. The album is a mixture of Afrobeats, Afrobeat, dancehall, pop and hip hop. It was produced primarily by Telz, along with production from Rexxie, Timbaland and DJDS, among others. The album features guest appearances from Youssou N'Dour, Naughty by Nature, Sauti Sol, Chris Martin and Stormzy. Its lead single is "Wonderful", released on 26 June 2020.
