Background

Originally formed in the 1990s, the band has been constantly evolving ever since. Starting out as a five-piece progressive rock band with vocals, they later became a fully instrumental ensemble playing many musical genres.

Sphere3 have played extensively around the UK and Europe. In concert, they have gained a strong reputation for their live performances, and have played with several progressive rock acts such as The Flower Kings, [2] Magnum, Focus, [3] and IQ. [4]

Line-up

The band's current line-up features Steve Anderson on guitars (also with Grey Lady Down and The Room), William Burnett on bass (previously also with Psychoyogi), Neil Durant on keyboards (also with IQ), and Jamie Fisher on drums/percussion (also with ReGenesis, Santo El Diablo, and collaborations with Carrie Melbourne, Katie Melua’s producer Steve Sale, Samantha Fox, Charlie Bicknell, Celloman, Larp, The Guvnors, The Incredibly Strange Film Band, and opera singer Melinda Hughes).

Revolution Action E.P. is an extended play by the German digital hardcore group Atari Teenage Riot, released in 1999 on 12" vinyl and CD formats to promote the album 60 Second Wipe Out, where the title track originates. Two music videos were produced for the track, one of which was actually banned by MTV. "Revolution Action" was also the name of a tour and live various artist release titled Revolution Action Japan Tour 1999 EP.

Cheer-Accident is an American progressive rock ensemble headed by Thymme Jones. Jones took the name of the band from a Hallmark Cards shopping display, and first formed the group in 1981 with singer Jim Drummond and drummer Mike Greenlees.

Fuck the Facts is a Canadian Juno-nominated, grindcore band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, formed in 1998. They began as the solo recording project of musician Topon Das. Their earliest recording was in January 1997; they began using the name Fuck the Facts in 1998. After many early recordings, including split tapes with groups from around the world, Fuck the Facts began developing a name in the underground with fans of grind. In 2001, the first full-length CD-R, Discoing the Dead, was recorded. The same year, Das would assemble a full band to continue with the project. The band has since coined the terms "bastardized grindcore" and "mullet-core" to describe their sound.

The Pineapple Thief are a British progressive rock band, started by Bruce Soord in 1999 in Somerset, England.

"On the Ride " is a song recorded and released as a single in 1972 by the Dutch musical ensemble, Continental Uptight Band. It was written by Lynsey de Paul and Edward Adamberry. The single was a chart hit in the Netherlands, reaching No. 23 in March 1972. It also reached No. 21 on the Radio Northsea International Prediction Hit 40 listing on 4 March 1972 after being a Smash Play on the radio station a month earlier. The single was also released in most territories of the world including the UK, US, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Brazil and Argentina, with "Northern Islands" being the B-side on all of these releases. A promotional film of the group was shown on the Austrian TV music show Spotlight on 25 June 1972 singing the song while driving through the streets of Utrecht in an old timer car. The song was released on CD in 2002 on Top 40 hitdossier : collectables 70's and, in 2005, on compilation albums in the Nederpop series.
