The Spider Islands are a small archipelago in the north basin of Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. The archipelago is situated near the eastern shoreline of the lake, north of the mouth of the Belanger River.
The archipelago consists of eight small islands, and together with reefs the islands form a chain that reaches nearly four kilometers or two and a half miles into the north basin.

Macaronesia is a collection of four volcanic archipelagos in the North Atlantic Ocean, off the coasts of the continents of Africa and Europe. Each archipelago is made up of a number of Atlantic oceanic islands, which are formed by seamounts on the ocean floor whose peaks have risen above the ocean's surface. Some of the Macaronesian islands belong to Portugal, some belong to Spain, and the rest belong to Cape Verde. Politically, the islands belonging to Portugal and Spain are part of the European Union. Geologically, Macaronesia is part of the African tectonic plate. Some of its islands – the Azores – are situated along the edge of that plate at the point where it abuts the Eurasian and North American plates.

Prince of Wales Island is an Arctic island in Nunavut, Canada. One of the larger members of the Arctic Archipelago, it lies between Victoria Island and Somerset Island and is south of the Queen Elizabeth Islands.
The Nottaway River is a river in Quebec, Canada. The river drains Lake Matagami and travels 225 kilometers (140 mi) north-west before emptying into Rupert Bay at the south end of James Bay. Its drainage basin is 65,800 square kilometers (25,400 sq mi) and has a mean discharge of 1190 m³/s. Its source is the head of the Mégiscane River, which is 776 kilometers (482 mi) from the mouth.
Bugio Island — is one of the three islands of the Portuguese Desertas Islands archipelago, a small chain of islands in the Madeira Islands Archipelago of Macaronesia.
Saltonia is a monotypic genus of North American cribellate araneomorph spiders in the family Dictynidae containing the single species, Saltonia incerta. It was first described by R. V. Chamberlin & Wilton Ivie in 1942, and has only been found in United States. Originally placed with the funnel weavers, it was moved to the Dictynidae in 1967.
Cross Creek is a natural waterway in Florida connecting Lochloosa Lake to Orange Lake, in southeastern Alachua County. It is 1.0 mile (1.6 km) long, and carries the outflow from Lochloosa Lake into Orange Lake. It is normally navigable by small boats, but has completely dried up in droughts. The creek has been designated an Outstanding Florida Water. County Road 325 crosses the creek. Cross Creek gives its name to the community of Cross Creek, which is famous as the home of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings for the last 25 years of her life, and for being the subject of her memoir Cross Creek, which was made into a motion picture in 1983.
George Island is a small island located within the north basin of Lake Winnipeg in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It lies approximately 400 kilometers (250 mi) north from Winnipeg, and approximately halfway between the community of Grand Rapids on the west shore and the community of Poplar River on the east shore of the lake. A lighthouse named George Island Light is located on the island. To the west of George Island lies Little George Island.
Sandy Islands is a group of four islands located in the northern basin on Lake Winnipeg in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The Sandy Islands together with Little George Island, George Island and the Spider Islands form a chain of islands, which are a continuation of The Pas Moraine.
Bell Island is an island in the Alexander Archipelago in Southeast Alaska, United States. It is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) long, lying in Behm Canal, north of Revillagigedo Island. George Vancouver first visited the island on August 12, 1793, in the evening dining on its south coast. He suspected that it was an island, but this was not proven until later in the same month, when Joseph Whidbey, master of HMS Discovery, charted its entire coastline. Vancouver later named it "Bell's Island" after one of his crew, Midshipman Bell.
Laguna de Sayula is a lake located in the southern area of Jalisco, about 60 km from Guadalajara. It is located in the municipalities of Sayula, Zacoalco de Torres, Amacueca, Teocuitatlán de Corona, Atoyac and Techaluta de Montenegro.
Bonilla Island is a small island in the Hecate Strait west of Banks Island. The island features a lighthouse and small forests.
