Spinaceto is the urban area 12g of Municipio IX of the city of Rome. It is part of the area Z. XXVIII Tor de 'Cenci. The toponym "Spinaceto" was used for the first time in 1536.

The Rural Municipality of Grahamdale forms most of the reserve's land boundary, although it also has a short border with the Little Saskatchewan First Nation as well as significant lakeshore on Lake St. Martin, which is considered as being outside the reserve.
