Roger Valença of Monkeybuzz said that "the eleven tracks that add up to just over half an hour compose a delicate and emotional experience, very quiet, which will make fans of the “voice and guitar” genre very happy". [2] Writing for Austin Town Hall, Nathan Lankfork praised the record: "I encourage you to do your own exploration of the record, as each time I spin it, I find something different and new lurking in the background, or even in front of my face. It’s a record that’ll make you lost, looking for the key to its secrets, and in the end, it’s just a nice bit of songwriting". [3]

Performance
The Silence of the Lambs is a 1991 American psychological horror film directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Ted Tally, adapted from Thomas Harris's 1988 novel. It stars Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling, a young FBI trainee who is hunting a serial killer, "Buffalo Bill", who skins his female victims. To catch him, she seeks the advice of the imprisoned Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer. The film also features performances from Scott Glenn, Anthony Heald and Kasi Lemmons.

Hold On was the fifth album by High Inergy. Like their previous three albums, this one was a commercial and critical disappointment. It peaked at #70 on Billboard's R&B Album charts and failed to make the Top 200 Pop Album charts. The album spawned one chart single, a cover of Bettye Swann's #1 R&B hit, "Make Me Yours", which Andrew Hamilton in his All Music Guide review described as "better-than-the-original." Unfortunately, High Inergy's version failed to achieve the chart success of the original, peaking at just #68.
