The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is a park located in North Central Florida, in Suwannee County, United States.
Situated on the banks of the historic Suwannee River, the park consists of over 800 acres (3.2 km²) of camping areas, concert venues, recreational facilities, and unspoiled forests. The park hosts numerous major events each year, including Suwannee Hulaween, Suwannee River Jam, the Suwannee Roots Revival , Wanee Music Festival, Brainquility, Purple Hatter's Ball, Suwannee Rising, and Suwannee Spring Reunion. Located in Live Oak, Florida, with 3 miles of the Suwannee River bordering the park, the park hosts over 25 fun events throughout the year. The park offers multiple stages, miles of trails, areas for camping and hiking, canoe and kayak rentals on the river, horseback riding, a restaurant, and a country store. Besides a variety of other flora and fauna, it includes a large bat house which has become a home to an increasing number of bats. [3] [4] [5]
The Cornett family has been making improvements to the park to enhance and improve its entertainment, hiking, canoeing, camping, and other activities. The park offers varied camping options including primitive camping, RV camping, and furnished park models. The "Spirit Treehouse" is also available for different occasions and events. In 2015, the park was featured on an episode of "Treehouse Guys", a reality TV show on the DIY Network. The episode, titled "A 100-Year Old Oak Tree", was the most-watched episode of the series, and featured the construction of a new multi-story treehouse built on the banks of the Suwannee River. The matriarch of the park, Jean Carrithers Cornett, is featured prominently in the show as she died during the filming. The massive treehouse is now called the "Mother Tree" in her honor, and is open for tours on weekends. [6]
The 2015 Suwannee Hulaween Music Festival had record-breaking attendance for the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park with 21,000 attendees. [7]

Ochlockonee River State Park is a Florida State Park located in Wakulla County, Florida, south of the town of Sopchoppy in the Florida Panhandle. Located off of U.S. 319 on the Ochlockonee River, just north of the Gulf of Mexico coast, it is surrounded by the Apalachicola National Forest and the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge and provides important habitat for the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker.

Collier–Seminole State Park is a Florida State Park located on US 41, 17 miles (27 km) south of Naples, Florida. The park is the home of a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark, the Bay City Walking Dredge used to build the Tamiami Trail through the Everglades. The park includes of 6,430 acres (26 km2) of mangrove swamp, cypress swamps, salt marshes, mangrove river estuaries, and pine flatwoods. Among the wildlife of the park are American alligators, raccoons, ospreys, and American white ibis. brown pelicans, wood storks, bald eagles, red-cockaded woodpeckers, American crocodiles, Florida black bears and Big Cypress fox squirrels also inhabit the park.
The Koreshan State Historic Site is a state park in Estero, Florida located on U.S. Highway 41 at Corkscrew Road. It was also added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 4, 1976, under the designation of Koreshan Unity Settlement Historic District.

Turkey Swamp Park is a 2,388-acre (966 ha) county park and nature preserve in Freehold Township, New Jersey. Within the northernmost fringes of the Pine Barrens, the Turkey Swamp area is located on a ridge, being a major drainage divide within Central New Jersey. It includes the headwaters of the Manasquan that flows into Manasquan Inlet, and the Metedeconk and Toms River systems that flow into Barnegat Bay, to the east; the Manalapan Brook system that is part of the Raritan River basin, to the north; and the Assunpink and Crosswicks systems that flow into the Delaware River, and the Millstone River system that also flows to the Raritan, to the west. The chief recreational attraction of this park is the 17-acre (6.9 ha) lake suitable for bass, bluegill and catfish fishing, as well as canoeing and paddle boating.

Colt Creek State Park is a Florida State Park in Central Florida, 16 miles (26 km) north of Lakeland off of State Road 471. This 5,067 acre park nestled within the Green Swamp Wilderness Area and named after one of the tributaries that flows through the property was opened to the public on January 20, 2007. Composed mainly of pine flatwoods, cypress domes and open pasture land, this piece of pristine wilderness is home to many animal species including the American bald eagle, Southern fox squirrel, gopher tortoise, white-tailed deer, wild turkey and bobcat.
Wanee Festival was an annual event held 2005 - 2018 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, in Live Oak, Florida. The festival was hosted by the Allman Brothers Band until 2014 and was managed by Live Nation. On November 5, 2018, it was announced via the Wanee website that the festival would not be occurring at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in 2019, citing the religious holidays of Easter and Passover as the reason the festival was cancelled. No plans for future Wanee Festivals have been announced.
