Spirits is a male/female dance music duo from England, who scored two entries on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1995. Members are Osmond Wright and Beverly Thomas. Their debut single, "Don't Bring Me Down" (1994), spent two weeks at number one on the dance chart and it was followed by "Spirit Inside" (1995), which hit number twelve. [1]
C+C Music Factory was an American musical group formed in 1989 by David Cole and Robert Clivillés. The group is best known for their five hit singles: "Gonna Make You Sweat ", "Here We Go ", "Things That Make You Go Hmmm...", "Just a Touch of Love", and "Keep It Comin'". The band stopped recording in 1996, following Cole's death. In 2010, C+C Music Factory reformed with Eric Kupper replacing Cole. Original member Freedom Williams acquired trademark rights to the name in 2003 and still tours under that moniker.

Xaviera Gold is a female African American dance music singer who is a former DJ and mixer on Chicago's WBMX-FM. In 1987, she had a hit with Ralphi Rosario on the song "You Used to Hold Me" under the name Xavier Gold. With Masters At Work, she went to #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 with "Gonna Get Back to You". She had an additional Top 10 on the dance chart in 1994 as the featured vocalist on Ralphi Rosario's track "You Used to Hold Me '94". The song "Good Luv" followed later that year and was a Top 30 dance hit.
Staxx of Joy were a British house music studio project assembled by producers Simon Thorne and Tom Jones. In the mid-1990s, they had four top 10 hits on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, two of which reached number one: "Joy" and "You". This union led to the creation of the house music group Love Tribe which included Waters, producer Dewey Bullock, and musician Victor Mitchell. Signed by renowned music A&R Simon Dunmore to AM:PM Records in the UK, Love Tribe's 1996 cult classic single "Stand Up" reached No. 1 on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart, and No. 23 on the UK Singles Chart in July of that year.

She scored two hits on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart: "My Love", which peaked at number 5 in 1995, and "This Man", which went all the way to number 1 in 1997. She graduated from The Soma Institute for clinical massage therapy in 2005 and received her associate's degree from Prairie State College in 2010. She was working on an EP, but decided to retire from recording in 2015 in order to work on her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
