Sport For Jove Theatre Company is an Australian theatre company. It was founded in 2008 by Damien Ryan (actor/director) and Terry Karabelas (actor/director). The company stages the works of William Shakespeare and other classical and new Australian writers.
The Shakespeare in the Rose Garden Festival was the first Outdoor Festival set up by Sport For Jove Theatre Company in 2009 and was the brainchild of Damien and Bernadette Ryan. The Festival was renamed The Sydney Hills Shakespeare in 2010.
The Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park is an outdoor Shakespeare Festival based in the Hills Shire District.
Following Shakespeare in the Rose Garden's A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2009, Sport For Jove Theatre Company and The Hills Shire Council presented a new annual program for 2010 at Bella Vista Farm.
The Sydney Hills Shakespeare in the Park at the Bella Vista Farm premiered in December 2010 with Sport for Jove Theatre Company performing a repertory season of two Shakespeare plays, Romeo and Juliet & As You Like It. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
The Leura Shakespeare Festival is an outdoor Shakespeare Festival created by Sport For Jove Theatre Company and supported by the National Trust.

The outdoor festival in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney had its inaugural season in 2011. Sport For Jove Theatre Company partnered with The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust and sponsored by The Sydney Morning Herald Autumn Festival of Arts performed two plays: A Midsummer Night's Dream and As You Like It in March. The Festival also included a Director's talk by director Damien Ryan.

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival (ISF) is held in Bloomington, Illinois, United States at Ewing Theatre and in Normal, Illinois, United States at the Center for Performing Arts Theatre at Illinois State University. The Ian Charleson Awards are theatrical awards that reward the best classical stage performances in Britain by actors under age 30. The awards are named in memory of the renowned British actor Ian Charleson, and are run by the Sunday Times newspaper and the National Theatre. The awards were established in 1990 after Charleson's death, and have been awarded annually since then. Sunday Times theatre critic John Peter (1938–2020) initiated the creation of the awards, particularly in memory of Charleson's extraordinary Hamlet, which he had performed shortly before his death. Irina Brown is a theatre and opera director in the United Kingdom, where she has lived and worked for over thirty years. Brown was the artistic director of the Tron Theatre in Glasgow from 1996 to 2000, and Natural Perspective Theatre Company, London from 2006 to 2011. Brown was the Granada Artist-in-Residence at the University of California, Davis in 2004 and 2008.

Oak Park Festival Theatre (OPFT) is a professional theatre company in Oak Park, Illinois, under contract with Actors' Equity Association. The company was founded in 1975 by Marion Kaczmar, an Oak Park resident and arts patron, and performed Renaissance works, almost exclusively by William Shakespeare, until 2004, when it broadened its scope to classics of other eras. Its outdoor venue has been Austin Gardens, a wooded park near downtown Oak Park within walking distance from restaurants, Frank Lloyd Wright landmarks, and Metra and CTA trains. To attract a greater following, Renaissance, classical, and modern American works were added to the offerings, some being produced indoors in historic Farson-Mills Home and, in the 2010-11 season, in the studio space in the Madison Street Theatre.
The GB Theatre Company is a British touring company that specialises in outdoor productions of Shakespeare. Founded in 2010 by Gillian Roca and Barrie Palmer. The first productions in 2010 were As You Like It directed by Neil Sheppeck and Merry Wives of Windsor directed by Jenny Stephens. The productions were played in rep and starred Gabriel Thomson, Matt Milburn, Stacey Roca and Alexander Delamere. The tour took in Dublin's Trinity College, Ramme Gaard in Norway, Prague Castle, Norwich Cathedral, Kentwell Hall and Arundel Castle.
Pop-up Globe was a New Zealand theatre production company, based in Auckland, New Zealand. It produced Jacobean theatre, particularly the works of Shakespeare, in specially-built temporary replicas of the second Globe, the theatre Shakespeare and his company built and used. The company’s theatre was the world's first full-scale reconstruction of the Second Globe Theatre (1614–44).
Melbourne City Ballet was a ballet company based in Melbourne, Australia. The company was founded in 2013 by artistic director Michael Pappalardo and experienced significant growth throughout the years. Originally created as a neoclassical/contemporary project based company, Melbourne City Ballet developed quickly to become a full-time operating arts organisation with an increasing focus bring classical ballet works to regional and remote communities across Australia. Melbourne City Ballet was a registered charity with the Australian Charity & Not for Profit Commission under the name MCB Incorporated and was overseen by a board of professionals. MCB seized operations in July 2019 due to lack of funding.
