It also went to number one in South Africa in late 1982, spending 25 weeks on the charts, eventually becoming the No. 1 hit on that country's year-end charts. In Australia, the single peaked at number 12 but spent 41 weeks on the Top 100 in two chart runs throughout 1983 and early 1984.
"Living to Love You" is a song by German singer–songwriter Sarah Connor from her fourth studio album, Naughty but Nice (2005). It was written and produced by Rob Tyger and Kay Denar and released as the album's lead single on 8 November 2004. The song reached number one in Germany and Switzerland, becoming Connor's third consecutive chart-topper on the German Singles Chart and fourth overall. Thus, Connor was the first German artist to accomplish this since Modern Talking in the mid-1980s. "Living to Love You" was the 39th-best-selling single of 2004 and the 35-best-selling single of 2005 in Germany.
"Chequered Love" is the second single by British singer Kim Wilde. The song was released in the spring of 1981 to follow Wilde's successful debut "Kids in America". As with that single, writing credits were given to Wilde's father and brother Marty and Ricky Wilde, with the latter also being given production credits. The 12" version is no longer in length than the 7"; however, better sound quality is achieved by the grooves not being as compressed - a common practice for "marketing" during the 1980s. The song later appeared on Wilde's self-titled debut album.
"Hijo de la Luna" is a song written by José María Cano performed originally by the Spanish band Mecano with lead singer Ana Torroja. It appeared on their 1986 album, Entre el cielo y el suelo, and had great success all over the Spanish-speaking world, as did the album. From 28 December 1998 to 16 January 1999, a cover version by Loona topped the German charts, and reached number two on the Swiss singles' chart.

"The Riddle" is a song by English singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw, released in 1984 as the lead single from his second studio album of the same name. Kershaw described the lyrical content as being nondescript to fill as a "guide vocal" for the production. It reached number three on the UK Singles Chart and peaked within the top 10 in countries like Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand. An accompanying music video was made for the song and features references to Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865).
"Cheri, Cheri Lady" is the only single released from Modern Talking's second album Let's Talk About Love, and it was the third single in a row that peaked at number one on the German singles chart, after "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and "You Can Win If You Want". "Cheri, Cheri Lady" was released on 2 September 1985, but peaked at No. 1 in Germany on 14 October 1985. The single spent four weeks at the top and a total of 24 weeks on the singles chart in Germany and eventually went gold, selling well over 250,000 units there.
"Weekend" is a song by Dutch band Earth and Fire. It was released by Earth and Fire as a single in November 1979 and reached the number one spot in the singles charts in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and Portugal. It was written by keyboard player Gerard Koerts for the album Reality Fills Fantasy.
"Hiroshima" is an anti-war song performed by British band Wishful Thinking, written by David Morgan and produced by Lou Reizner, which tells about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The track was recorded at the Chappell Recording Studios in London in 1970. It was first released in 1971 as a single from their album of the same name, but achieved commercial success only upon its re-release in 1978, when it peaked at No. 8 in West Germany, staying on the chart for 44 weeks. It was one of the best-selling singles of 1978 in West Germany.
Interactive is a German electronic music group, founded in 1990. They are best known for their 1992 single "Who Is Elvis" which reached No. 12 in Germany, and for their 1994 cover version of Alphaville's "Forever Young", which reached No. 7 in Germany, while also making the top 20 in several other countries. Interactive released two studio albums, Intercollection in 1991 and Touché in 1995. Their last released work was the 1998 single "Fanatic". In 2002, Kosmonova remixed their version of "Forever Young".
"Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann" is a 1984 song by Nena written by band members Jörn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen and Carlo Karges. It was a commercial success in Europe. Released initially as a single, it was included on Nena's 1985 album Feuer und Flamme. Many variations and covers of the song have appeared, including samples and foreign language versions, most notably the English language "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime". Its various incarnations have charted over a 37-year period and in three different languages.

The song was released as the band's debut single on 3 December 2001 following their formation on the RTL II reality television show Popstars – Du bist mein Traum. It became the year's Christmas number one in Germany and spent five consecutive weeks at number one, achieving a triple platinum certification from the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI).
"Zeit" is a song by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It is the title track from their eighth studio album of the same name and released as the first single from it. The song became Rammstein's third No. 1 single in Germany after "Deutschland" in 2019. The track was also nominated for the 2022 Kerrang! Award for Best Single.
