Spring Cleaning is the sixth studio album released by the indie rock band Before Braille. It was released on July 2, 2009, by Sunset Alliance Records.
The album's official name is: Spring Cleaning...Cut, Clean, Scab, Scar, Rewind, Remind, Repeat. [1] The idea of releasing this record appears to have solidified in December 2007, during Kill the Messenger, Keep the Message's final weeks of production. [2] Almost a record of B-sides and rare tracks, David Jensen, former lead-singer of the group, described it as a "collection of songs that were never given their chance on the stage." [2] In the end, the record contains: nine brand new tracks; five out of print compilation songs; two songs from Before Braille's first recording, the Triplesplit , re-recorded and remastered; and, acoustic recordings of three songs from The Rumor . [3]
Of the "new tracks" that were released on this record, many were actually old songs that had never been properly recorded and released. For example, "This is Not Theory" and "Hooray for Yourself" were originally recorded in 2001 as part of a demo that the band did for Aezra Records. [4] Some of them were re-recorded after the band left Aezra in 2003 and then finished off in 2007. [4] Another such song is "Five Minute Warning (R is for Regret)." According to the band, this song was a fan favorite during their earliest years, although it was never recorded. [5]
Making appearances on this record are: Ian Metzger of Dear and the Headlights on the track "Colic"; Robin Wilson of the Gin Blossoms on the track "Hooray for Yourself"; [6] and, Jason Corman (i.e. Mr. Fantastical) who makes guitar contributions throughout. [6] Bob Hoag served, once again, as producer, and Chuckie Duff at Common Wall Media took care of the album art and design. [3]

Straylight Run is an indie rock band based in Baldwin, Nassau County, New York. The band released two albums, Straylight Run and The Needles the Space, as well as three EPs, Prepare to Be Wrong, About Time, and Un Mas Dos. In 2010, the band announced that they would be going on indefinite hiatus, but might reunite in the future. Two of the members, John Nolan and Shaun Cooper, previously played in Taking Back Sunday and have since rejoined the band.
Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in Winter Haven, Florida in 2002. Since the beginning of 2007, the band consists of lead vocalist Stephen Christian, guitarists Joseph Milligan and Christian McAlhaney, bassist Deon Rexroat, and drummer Nathan Young.

August Burns Red is an American metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, formed in 2003. The band's current lineup consists of lead guitarist John Benjamin "JB" Brubaker, rhythm guitarist Brent Rambler, drummer Matt Greiner, lead vocalist Jake Luhrs and bassist Dustin Davidson. The band was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Metal Performance for the song "Identity" from its 2015 release Found in Far Away Places, and again in 2018 for "Invisible Enemy" from Phantom Anthem (2017). The band has released ten studio albums to date; their latest, Death Below, was released on March 24, 2023.
Howards Alias were a band in the turn-of-the-millennium UK underground punk scene. They formed in 1999 in Southampton, England, and blended an eclectic mix of rock, progressive, punk and ska influences into their own musical output. They permanently disbanded in April 2008.
Anchor & Braille is the recording alias for American singer-songwriter Stephen Christian, known for fronting the alternative rock band Anberlin. Originally conceived as a side project for Christian, Anchor & Braille became his primary vehicle for releasing music after Anberlin's initial dissolution in 2014. Christian has described Anchor & Braille as a collaborative effort, having recorded with musicians such as Aaron Marsh of Copeland, Micah Tawlks, and Kevin Dailey of Civil Twilight. Since its beginning, Christian has released four studio albums under this name, Felt in 2009, The Quiet Life in 2012, Songs for the Late Night Drive Home in 2016 and Tension in 2020.
Sea of Treachery is an American metalcore/deathcore band from Hebron, Kentucky, United States, formed in 2004. Since forming, they have released three EPs and two full-length studio albums, the first being At Daggers Drawn, which was released on April 29, 2008 on Sumerian Records, and the second being Wonderland, released on December 14, 2010 on Blkheart Group. The digital version of Wonderland, featuring a bonus track, was released January 4, 2011. In early 2012, the band had reformed with the original line-up who were on the At Daggers Drawn record, played a reunion show in Newport, Kentucky, and have also announced more shows around the tri-state area.
Magna-Fi is an American rock band, now a solo project by the band's lead vocalist, Mike Szuter. The band's lineup in the 2000s consisted of Mike on guitar and lead vocals, bass guitarist Rob Kley, drummer Charlie Smaldino, and additional guitarist, Christian Brady, as well as CJ Szuter. They are perhaps best known for performing on the Shadow the Hedgehog video game soundtrack, as well as the single "Where Did We Go Wrong", used for the 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. The band was active from 1996 until 2010, when they split.

The Rumor is the first studio album recorded by indie rock band Before Braille. It was originally released on September 10, 2002 by Aezra Records and distributed by BMG. Ownership of the album has since passed to Sunset Alliance Records.
Tired of Not Being Away from Here is the fifth studio album, and second LP, recorded by the indie rock band, Before Braille. It was released in 2005 in the United Kingdom by You and Whose Army? Records, and distributed in the United States by Sunset Alliance and Common Wall Media.
Triplesplit Series, Vol. 1 was one of Sunset Alliance's first releases, and remains one of its best selling records. It features Andherson, Before Braille, and Fivespeed, each of whom would make an appearance on the popular Emo Diaries series on Deep Elm Records. This record comes at an interesting time for each of the bands, as Fivespeed had just opened for Jimmy Eat World at the release of Bleed American, Before Braille was preparing to enter the studio to start recording its full-length album, and Andherson had a "homecoming" of sorts in the Phoenix metro-area with this release, after having relocated to Berkeley, California.

Not One Light Red: A Modified Document is a compilation album created by Scott Tennent and David Jensen to serve 3 essential missions. Its first mission was to create a record that would showcase and introduce local Phoenix bands to the rest of the United States. Second, it was supposed to serve to help promote the local Phoenix music and art venue, The Modified. Finally, it was to serve as a springboard for a national independent record label based in the Phoenix area along the same lines as Kill Rock Stars in Olympia, Washington and Dischord Records in Washington, D.C.
