Richard Howard Purser is a New Zealand badminton player who has won 33 New Zealand national badminton titles, including the men's singles on nine occasions. Malaysia competed in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. The event was originally scheduled from 10 to 25 September 2022. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic cases rising in China, the event was postponed and rescheduled to 23 September to 8 October 2023.

Squash competitions at the 2022 Bolivarian Games in Valledupar, Colombia were held from 25 to 29 June 2022 at Unidad Deportiva El Salitre in Bogotá, a sub-venue outside Valledupar.
