Sree Ayyappan is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language devotional action drama film directed by Vishnu Venjaramoodu, in his directorial debut. The film stars Riyaz Khan in the lead role. [1]

Sree Ayyappan is a series of happenings, where some terrorists plots attack on Sabarimala Temple and Lord Ayyappa's legacy and his faithful devotees. [2]

The title announcement of the film was done by Mallika Sukumaran on 4 November 2025. [1] [3] The trailer of the film was released on 29 November 2025. [4]

Filming

Principal photography began on 26 August 2025 along with song recording. [5] [6] The film was shot at different locations of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Tamilnadu and Kerala. [7]

Music

The lyrics of the film was written by Dr.Sukesh and the songs are composed by Jeevan Soman and Sherry Shaji with Madhu Balakrishnan, Sannidhanandan as playback singers. [5]

Release

Sree Ayyappan is scheduled to release theatrically on 12 December 2025. [8]
