Sricharan Rangarajan (born 24 April 1981) is an Indian actor and a qualified lawyer based in Chennai, India.
As an Actor
Having debuted in the 2008 Tamil film Mudhal Mudhal Mudhal Varai , Sri Charan went on to make his break with Radha Mohan's 2011 film Payanam or Gaganam where he acted in a double role. [1] He then portrayed a supporting role in the Siddharth starrer 180 directed by Jayendra. He played the role of a guy next door, a radio jockey in San Francisco, United States.[ citation needed ]
As a Lawyer
He is a qualified practitioner primarily based out of the High Court of Judicature at Madras (Chennai, India). He was previously serving as Special Government Pleader and Additional Advocate General for the state government. In the year 2023, he was designated as Senior Advocate by the High Court. [2]

Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, commonly known by its former name Madras Law College, is a law school, located in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. It is also referred to as Government Law College or GLC, Chennai. It was established in 1891. It was renamed in 1990, as Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, by the Government of Tamil Nadu in commemoration of the birth centenary of B. R. Ambedkar. Vivekanandar Illam, earlier known as Ice House or Castle Kernan, is a historical building in Chennai, India. It was constructed in 1842 by Frederic Tudor. Indian Saint Swami Vivekananda stayed in the building when he visited Chennai in 1897, and it was later renamed in his honor. Gauravam (transl. Prestige) is a 1973 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film written and directed by Vietnam Veedu Sundaram. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in a dual role as a barrister and his nephew fighting the same case. It is an adaptation of Sundaram's play Kannan Vanthaan. The Madras High Court is a High Court in India. It has appellate jurisdiction over the state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. It is located in Chennai, and is the third oldest high court of India after the Calcutta High Court in Kolkata and Bombay High Court in Mumbai. The Madras High Court is one of four charter high courts of colonial India established in the four Presidency Towns of Madras, Bombay, Allahabad and Calcutta by letters patent granted by Queen Victoria, dated 26 June 1862. It exercises original jurisdiction over the city of Chennai, as well as extraordinary original jurisdiction, civil and criminal, under the letters patent and special original jurisdiction for the issue of writs under the Constitution of India. Covering 107 acres, the court complex is one of the largest in the world, second only to the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. The four-storey administrative building attracts hundreds of litigants every day.
