Technology Teaching
The faculty at St. Catherine of Siena School uses new technology to support the School-wide Learning Expectations and the school's Mission. Through such electronic resources as a state-of-the-art computer lab, desktop, notebook computers in the classrooms, a portable netbook lab in the primary grades, and a portable iPad lab in the junior high, our student engage in various learning experiences. These include educational programs, Internet-based research, writing, and the creation of various kinds of presentations using Photoshop, Publisher, PowerPoint, and IMovie.
Additionally, teachers use new technology, including Smart Boards, LCD projectors, electronic microscopes, and LCD televisions, to create innovative lessons. St. Catherine teachers also utilize two computer based reading comprehension and assessment programs - Scholastic Reading Counts and Scholastic Reading Inventory, to encourage reading development in grades one through eight.
St. Catherine of Siena School offers opportunities in non-sports activities. These activities include choir grades 4th-8th, student council 4th-8th, safety patrol 5th-8th, instrumentalists 6th-8th, religious education student assistants 8th, candle bearers 5th-8th, student acolytes 8th, readers for mass 2nd-8th, gift bearers 2nd-8th, and cross bearer ministers junior high. In addition, since 2005 the school has sent a team from the 5th and 6th grades to compete in the Diocesan Religion Decathlon.
The school fields Grades 5-8 basketball teams for both boys and girls, volleyball teams for girls (also for Grades 5–8) a volleyball team for boys (Grade 7) and flag football (Grades 5–8). All these teams compete against the other Catholic schools in the Solano-Pittsburg Athletic League (SPAL).
Coyle & Cassidy High School and Middle School was a private, Catholic Diocesan school located in Taunton, Massachusetts, United States. The school had been a co-education middle and high school facility from 2014 until its 2020 closure. Coyle served students living within and beyond the Greater Taunton Area.
Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School is a separate school located in North Oakville in the River Oaks area within Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The 2019-2020 school year has around 1330 students enrolled in the school. Holy Trinity is a member of the Halton Catholic District School Board.
Catholic Central High School (CCH) in London, was Ontario's first Jr. Catholic High School, opened with grades 7 to 13 in September 1950. The new building was a Junior High School with grades 7 to 10. The original building on site was formerly known as Sacred Heart Convent and it housed 11, 12, 13 for a number of years but dropped grades 7, 8 when enrolment in grades 9 & 10 increased. CCH is administered by the London District Catholic School Board.
Saint Francis School is a K-12, independent, not for profit, college preparatory school with no religious affiliation that has been serving students of the Metro Atlanta area since 1976. Saint Francis School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). It is a member of Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) and the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS).
Saint John's School is a private coeducational school located in the Condado neighborhood of San Juan, Puerto Rico. It has students from pre-kindergarten to the 12th grade.
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School (HNJ) is a Catholic private day school in Indialantic, Florida. The school is part of the parish of the Holy Name of Jesus and under the control of the Diocese of Orlando. Annual tuition in 2002 was $2350 for parishioners.
The Regis School of the Sacred Heart is an elementary and middle school for boys located at 7330 Westview Drive in the Spring Branch area of Houston, in the U.S. state of Texas. The all boys school serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school has been single gender and non-profit since its founding and is a Houston Area Independent School. Regis is also part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. As of 2022, the school has about 277 students enrolled, and it celebrated its thirtieth anniversary during the 2021–22 school year. Regis, an independent Catholic school, is the only all-boys school of the Archdiocese to have early childhood, elementary, and middle school programs in one school. Regis is the brother school of the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart.
John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School was an all-girls Roman Catholic high school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It is the country's first all-girls diocesan Catholic high school.
St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School is an independent Catholic school in Memphis, Tennessee consisting of an all-girls PK2-12th school and an all boys PK2-8th school. The school is located in the Diocese of Memphis and follows Catholic principles but is not run by the diocese. It was founded by Dominican sisters.
St. Anne School, founded in 1949, is a private, parochial elementary school, grades pre-Kindergarten through eighth, located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. St. Anne's is of Roman Catholic denomination, and the school's district is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. St. Anne School has been accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and was last credited April 2007. St. Anne School serves children of any race or ethnic background in the surrounding towns in Bergen County, New Jersey, such as Fair Lawn, Elmwood Park, Saddle Brook, Paterson, and others.
Siena College of Taytay, also referred to by its acronym SCT, is a private, non-profit Catholic basic and higher education institution run by the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. It was named St. Catherine Academy at foundation in 1957 by the Dominican Sisters of Siena and it is one of six Dominican educational institutions in the Philippines. Its sister schools are Siena College of Quezon City, Siena College of San Jose, Siena College of Hermosa, and Siena College of Tigaon.
Notre Dame of Tacurong College is a private, Catholic basic and higher education institution run by the Archdiocese of Cotabato in the City of Tacurong, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. It was established by the Oblates in 1950. It offers Elementary, Junior High School, Senior High School, and College to the neighboring municipalities, cities, and provinces. It has been a member of the Notre Dame Educational Association, a group of schools named Notre Dame in the Philippines under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Murray County Central (MCC) is a school district in southwestern Minnesota. Both the elementary school (West), and the high school (Central) are located in Slayton. The high school was known for much of its history as Slayton High School; this officially changed when the district consolidated in 1992, bringing in students from many of the surrounding communities, including Avoca, Chandler, Currie, Iona, and Lake Wilson. The high school currently houses grades seven through twelve as well as the kindergarten and first grade students. Those in grades two through six attend West Elementary.
John Knox Christian School (JKCS) is an independent Christian school located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1953 and began classes in 1959. John Knox currently has an enrollment of about 350+ students. JKCS is a member of the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools (OACS).

Christ Our King-Stella Maris School is a Roman Catholic parochial elementary and middle school in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina serving students in grades K4 through 8th. With an enrollment of over 600, it is the largest Catholic elementary and middle school in the Diocese of Charleston. The school was founded in 1950 and is named for the two original contributing parishes: Christ Our King Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant and Stella Maris Catholic Church on Sullivan's Island.
