St. Francis School, Amritsar is an independent co-educational institution located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The school is affiliated with the ICSE curriculum till the 10th year and the ISC for higher secondary.

History

St. Francis School was founded in 1953 by the Diocese of Jalandhar under the guidance of Msgr. Alban Swabrick and Rev. Fr. Finbar. The school is named after St. Francis of Assisi. It is one of the oldest Jesuit educational institutions in Punjab.

The Diocese of Jalandhar was registered as an association under the 1860 vides in 1957-1958. It operates 100 schools at the Kindergarten, Primary School, and High School level across Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
