St. Mary's Church is a parish of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church located in Njarackal (Narakkal), on the island of Vypin, part of the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. [1] Established in 1451, it remains an active congregation of the Archeparchy of Ernakulam-Angamaly. [2]

The current church was renovated in 2001. It features a nave of 8 arches, with 1 main altar and 4 sub altars.

Basilica of Our Lady of Dolours, Thrissur Church in Kerala, India

Our Lady of Dolours Basilica alias Puthanpally is a minor basilica of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Thrissur City in the Indian state of Kerala. The third tallest church in Asia, it is famous for its Gothic style architecture. Built in fine Indo-Gothic style with an area of 25,000 square feet (2,300 m2), it has soaring belfries at the entrance, double storeyed aisles all along the nave and transepts, and eleven altars, five on either side of the main one. St. Mary's Forane Church, Chalakudy, is one of the 10 Foranes or deaneries under the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Irinjalakuda, which was established in 1978 by the bifurcation of Thrissur Diocese. Prior to that, Chalakudy was part of Thrissur diocese, the most ancient Diocese of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. This eparchy is not part of any ecclesiastical province and is exempt immediately to the Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church and the Congregation for the Oriental Churches. Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church Chicago Church in USA, United States


Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church located in Maywood, Illinois in the United States is the first Knanaya Catholic Church established outside the juridical boundary of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Archeparchy of Kottayam. This church is also the first church of the Knanaya Region under the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago. The migrants from the Archdiocese of Kottayam living in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin were members of this parish at the time of its establishment in 24 September 2006. The parishioners were formerly members of the Knanaya Catholic Mission established by the Archdiocese of Chicago since 28 October 1983. Later another church was established in Morton Grove on 18 July 2010 for the parishioners living in the north side of 90 Expressway. The church was elevated as a forane church by Bishop Mar Jacob Angadiath on 22 March 2015. The parish servers around 400 Knanaya Catholic families.
