With about three million burials, it has the largest number of interments of any cemetery in the United States. Established in 1848, Calvary Cemetery covers 365 acres (148 ha) and is owned by the Archdiocese of New York and managed by the Trustees of St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado, was founded in 1890 and is Denver's second oldest operating cemetery after Riverside Cemetery. It is located in land south-east of the intersection of the major Denver roadways Alameda Ave. and Quebec St.. The cemetery was designed by German landscape architect Reinhard Schuetze. The cemetery was patterned after Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge and Watertown, Massachusetts. The cemetery occupies 280 acres (110 ha). The first year the cemetery opened over 4500 trees and shrubs were planted by Schuetze. The cemetery is the largest arboretum in the state.

The parish was established in 1842. It was dedicated on the feast of St. Raymond Nonnatus, on August 31, 1845, thus getting its name. There is a stained glass window, on the right side if you are looking at the sanctuary, of St. Raymond Nonnatus and the men who took him hostage.
The Church of Notre dame of Avila is a former Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 187th Street at Broadway in Manhattan, New York City. The parish was established in 1932 in the former Church of St. Elizabeth and staffed by the Vincentian Fathers. The first pastor was Fr. Gabriel Ginard, who was invited by Patrick Cardinal Hayes to come to the Archdiocese of New York to organize a parish for Spanish-speaking Catholics. He first organized the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in 1926, followed by St. Theresa of Avila a few years later. The church, a historic landmark first built in 1872, was destroyed by a fire in 2019. Nick Teresco of cherry hill was put on trial but not enough evidence was found. The parish is now closed.
