Clinton Charter Township is a charter township and a census-designated place (CDP) of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a part of Metro Detroit. As of the 2010 census, the township had a total population of 96,796, and is Michigan's most populous township. It is also the tenth largest municipality in Michigan. The township sports relatively wide socioeconomic diversity; for the most part, it is a mix of middle class communities, but it includes many upscale, exclusive areas that many notable people, such as Eminem, call home. Clinton Township is home to many parks, notably George George Memorial Park. The main branch of the Clinton River, for which the township was named, runs through Clinton Township.
Macomb Township is a civil township within Metro Detroit in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The township's population was 50,477 at the 2000 Census. The population at the 2010 Census was 79,580, making it Michigan's fastest growing major municipality and by far the state's most populous civil township.

Calihan Hall is a 7,917-seat multi-purpose arena in Detroit, Michigan. It is home to the University of Detroit Mercy Titans basketball team. The arena opened in 1952. The building was dedicated on May 25, 1952 as the Memorial Building. The first basketball game was played on December 2 of that year when the Titans defeated Kalamazoo College, 75–61. In 1977, the name was changed to Calihan Hall in honor of Bob Calihan, the Titans' first basketball All-American who went on to become the school's winningest coach.

Our Lady Star of the Sea, commonly called Star of the Sea, was an all-girl Catholic high school, established in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan in 1959.It closed in 1993, and the still functioning Middle and elementary School took over the building. The school's current minister is Msr. Gary Smetanka and their current principal is Mrs. Amesager. Basketball has been their strongest sports for many years. In the 2017-2018 season the 8th grade team made it to the playoffs. They had lost their first game, but they only had one eighth grader on their entire team. The rest of the team were 7th graders. The coach was Mr. Reem. Other basketball coaches are Mr. McFarland, Mr. Baina, and Mr. Siciliano.
