St. Sebastian's Church, Chittattukara is a Syro-Malabar Catholic Church situated 22 kilometres to the north-west of Thrissur City, Kerala, India, and 5 kilometres south eas of Guruvayur Town. It is 6 kilometres away from the historically important Palayur Church.
Chittattukara's Christian community is believed[ by whom? ] to have been formed in the 12th century.[ citation needed ]. The mother parish of Chittattukara is Palayur Church. In the 12th century, a new chapel was established in Chittattukara called Muthyema Chapel.[ citation needed ]
In 1770 the present parish was established and initially the Muthyema Chapel was used as the parish church. It soon became too small for the congregation, and a new church was built in 1792. The present church (in Portuguese style), the third parish church, was built shortly after 1800. [1]

The major festival celebrated here is the feast of St. Sebastian known as "Kambidi Thirunnal" on 6 and 7 January. The celebration begins on 4 January. The 2 km Angadi road is decorated with pindis and lights. The main attraction of the feast is the fireworks. The main firework is on 6 and 7 January. Small fireworks are conducted on 4 and 5.

St. George's Syro-Malabar Forane Church, locally known as Edapally Church is a Catholic pilgrimage church in Edapally, Kochi, India. It is considered as Asia's largest shrine dedicated to Saint George, about five million people visit it every year.
Kurumpanadam Forane Church in Kerala, India is on a hillock about 6 km east of Changanacherry and 800 metres north of Perumpanachy Junction. This area was a part of Changanacherry Parish in ancient days and later from 1835 to 1837 under the jurisdiction of Thuruthi Parish. The Mooppachanmar who had visited Kurumbanadu to select aspirants for priesthood selected Chorikkavungal Zackarias and Mukkattukunnel Thomas from this area. They requested the Catholics of this area to erect a church. Following their request, 93 Catholic families who had inhabited Kurumbanadu erected the first Catholic Church here on 13 June 1837. It had stood on the north of the present church. As the church was not spacious enough, the construction of a new church was started in 1844. Fr. Philipose Chalackal, a parishioner of Thuruthi, was the vicar of Kurumpanadu. The main role in the construction of the new church was played by Fathers Thomas Mukkattukunnel and Zackarias Chorickavunkal.
The St. Antony's Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane Church is located at Ollur, Thrissur city in Kerala, India. The church belongs to Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. According to rough figures there are around 4,000 Christian families in the parish. Because of the huge presence of Christian people in Ollur, with its religious, educational, medical, social-service, and secular organisations and institution, Ollur has been called as Chinna Roma.
