The St. Theresa Church [1] and alternatively St. Theresa Parish, [2] is a religious building of the Catholic church that is located in Main Road [3] in the town of Charlestown, [4] capital of Nevis Island [5] and Saint Paul Charlestown Parish one of the 14 in the Caribbean and island federation of St. Kitts and Nevis in the Lesser Antilles.

This is one of the 3 existing Catholic churches on the island of Nevis being the other two dedicated to St. John Baptist de la Salle and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Follow the Roman or Latin rite and is the main church on the island that depends on the Diocese of Saint John's - Basseterre (Dioecesis Sancti Ioannis Imatellurana) which was created in 1961 with the Bull "Cum nobis" of Pope Paul VI.

Members of the congregation are not only on the island but elsewhere in the Caribbean.

The politics of Saint Kitts and Nevis takes place in the framework of a federal parliamentary democracy. Saint Kitts and Nevis is an independent Commonwealth realm with Elizabeth II as its head of state, viceregally represented by a Governor-General. He acts on the advice of the prime minister, who is the majority party leader in the National Assembly, and who, with a cabinet, conducts affairs of state.

Transport in Saint Christopher and Nevis includes normal road traffic, public buses, taxis, ferries, airports, and one railway.

Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint Johns–Basseterre

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint John's–Basseterre is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church, covering five English-speaking jurisdictions in the Caribbean. The bishopric is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Castries, and a member of the Antilles Episcopal Conference, but remains dependent on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.

Pinneys Beach

Pinney's Beach, also spelled Pinneys Beach, is a very long sandy beach on the western (Caribbean) coast of the island of Nevis, in Saint Kitts and Nevis, Leeward Islands, West Indies. The southern end of Pinneys Beach starts just outside the capital, Charlestown. The beach extends north three miles from there, ending at the northern point of Cades Bay, which is currently where the "Sea Bridge" ferry dock is located. That is near the southern entrance to The Narrows, the strait separating Nevis from the neighboring island of Saint Kitts.
