The St John's Centre is an indoor shopping centre in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The centre is surrounded by The Headrow to the south, Albion Street to the west and Merrion Street to the north. The centre makes up the central shopping centre to a row of three, that run up through the northern side of Leeds city centre, The Core to the south and the Merrion Centre to the north. The centre has an annual footfall of ten million. [1] Dortmund Square lies to the front of the centre. In early 2005 the centre was refurbished.
The main stores as of August 2017 are McDonald's, Poundland, the Post Office, and Taco Bell, as well as several independent retailers and restaurants such as Trade Me In, Stampede and Picture The Print. The first floor contains a large cafe. [3]
Former retailers include Topshop and Index. The centre does not have an anchor retailer nor a unit large enough for one.
The first floor is separated from the ground floor by three adjacent escalators with stairs running either side of them. Lifts also link the floors, however the two floors do not overlap in many places. The ground floor exits onto Dortmund Square on The Headrow, whilst the first floor exits to Albion Street and Merrion Street.
The centre has an attached large multi-storey car park with 24 hour access operated by Q-Park. It has a total of 282 parking spaces and can be access via Merrion Street to the rear of the centre; there is also direct access to the centre via lift. [4]

The White Rose Centre is a shopping centre in the Beeston area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It spans two floors and is near the M621 motorway. It takes its name from the White Rose of York, the traditional symbol of Yorkshire. Most shops are situated on the Ground Floor. The Upper Level mezzanine and ‘The Village’ outdoor expansion houses one of two food courts as well some retail outlets, a Cineworld 11-screen cinema, a Starbucks and an al fresco dining terrace boasting new tenants Wagamama, Prezzo, TGI Fridays and Five Guys among others. It also houses an outdoor children’s play area. Although the centre is smaller than other out-of-town shopping centres, it has attracted large retailers such as Next, JD Sports, Zara, River Island and Marks and Spencer.
The Merrion Centre is a shopping centre located in the Arena Quarter area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Since opening in 1964, the centre has been owned and managed by Town Centre Securities. Originally open air, the centre had a roof installed during the 1970s.

It occupies the rectangular space between The Headrow on the south, St Anne's Street on the north, Cookridge Street on the west, and Albion Street. Two former streets divide it: Upper Fountaine Street (east-west) and Cross Fountaine Street (north-south) now covered with a glass roof. It incorporates two listed buildings Permanent House and the Headrow Buildings.

As with most northern industrial centres, much of Leeds' prominent architecture is of the Victorian era. However, the City of Leeds also contains buildings from as early as the Middle Ages such as Kirkstall Abbey, one of Britain's best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries, as well as examples of 20th century industrial architecture, particularly in the districts of Hunslet and Holbeck.
The Leeds city centre Loop Road was a one-way traffic route of approximately two miles within the city centre of Leeds, which encircled a large section of the shopping and retail district. It comprised the following eighteen junctions. It stopped functioning as a complete when after Leeds City Council closed access to City Square in September 2022.
The Pentagon Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Chatham in Kent. The centre's name derives from the fact that its main courtyard is five-sided. The shopping centre is located next to the Waterfront bus station which replaces the Pentagon bus station, which 80% of services use. The shopping centre contains over 70 shops and 7 leisure facilities, many high street names in fashion, homeware and food stores. There are also cafes, restaurants and a bowling alley. As is common with some other 1970's era town centre shopping centres, The Pentagon does not feature a food court or any dedicated dining area. Instead, there are various food outlets scattered throughout the centre. Built as part of the redevelopment of Chatham town centre in the 1970s, the Pentagon also features the high rise Mountbatten House office block, which has controversially stood empty or part-used for most of its history. The Pentagon, Mountbatten House and the Brook multi-storey carpark are built in a distinctive orange-red brick with grey concrete.
