Stefan Olof "Stan" Saanila (born 27 June 1968 in Helsinki) is a Finnish stand-up comedian. [1] He was one of the team captains, opposite novelist Jari Tervo, in the television show Uutisvuoto , filling a vacancy left when longtime captain Tommy Tabermann stepped down in order to run for a place in the Parliament of Finland in 2007. Following Tabermann's election into the Parliament and his 2010 death, Saanila has continued as captain.

Saanila is also known for his work in other programs, such as W-tyyli and Hetimiten , and he had a role in the movie Miehen työ (2007). He has also done Detta om Detta with André Wickström.

Paavo Tapio Lipponen is a Finnish politician and former reporter. He was prime minister of Finland from 1995 to 2003, and chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Finland from 1993 to 2005. He also served as speaker of the Parliament of Finland from 2003 to 2007 and was his party's nominee in the 2012 Finnish presidential election but received only 6.7% of the votes, making it the biggest defeat the Social Democratic Party had ever received in Finnish presidential elections at the time. Lipponen is currently the oldest living former prime minister of Finland.

Saku Antero Koivu is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). Koivu served as the Canadiens' captain for ten of his 14 years with the club, making his captaincy tenure the longest in the team's history, tied with Jean Béliveau. Mikko-Sakari Koivu is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player. Koivu was drafted sixth overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild. After four seasons with TPS in the SM-liiga, Koivu joined the Wild in 2005. He spent fifteen seasons in Minnesota, including eleven as captain, accumulating several franchise records, including games played, assists and points scored. Koivu retired in 2021, after a short stint with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Tervo characterised his popularity with the following anecdote: "When he was sixty, nine out of ten persons in an elevator at the Stockmann department store recognised him.
