Stand Like Giants is the seventh album by South African rock band the Parlotones. It was produced by Theo Crous, and was released on 1 September 2013 on Sovereign Entertainment. [1] It includes their hit radio single, "Sleepwalker". [2]
All tracks are written by The Parlotones and Theo Crous. Nic Olsen additional lyrics on "Sympathise with the cost". Lyrics of "Hollow Men" inspired by T.S. Eliot poem. (as per liner notes).

Supertramp were an English rock band that formed in London in 1969. Marked by the individual songwriting of founders Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, they are distinguished for blending progressive rock and pop styles as well as for a sound that relied heavily on Wurlitzer electric piano. The group's line-up changed numerous times throughout their career, with Davies being the only consistent member throughout the decades. Other longtime members included bassist Dougie Thomson, drummer Bob Siebenberg, and saxophonist John Helliwell.
Supertramp is the self-titled debut album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in July 1970. The first UK press was released under the title "And I'm Not Like Other", but this title was printed on the labels only. In some countries it was released under the titles Surely (Singapore), and Now and Then (Spain).

Charles Roger Pomfret Hodgson is an English musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the former co-frontman and founding member of progressive rock band Supertramp. Hodgson composed and sang the majority of the band’s hits, including "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", "Take the Long Way Home", "The Logical Song", "It's Raining Again", and "Breakfast in America."
"The Logical Song" is a song by English rock group Supertramp that was released as the lead single from their album Breakfast in America in March 1979. It was written primarily by the band's Roger Hodgson, who based the lyrics on his experiences being sent away to boarding school for ten years. The song became Supertramp's biggest hit, rising to No. 7 in the United Kingdom and No. 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2001, a cover version by the band Scooter returned the song to the top 10 in several European countries.
How Far Shallow Takes You is the second full-length studio album by Canadian punk rock band Gob, and was released on November 24, 1998, on Fearless Records. The album was re-released on December 8, 1998, on Landspeed Records due to a conflict between the band and Fearless Records. The album was again re-released by Nettwerk Management; both this version and the Landspeed version featured a 17th track, "All We Are". The American release also featured a cover of "Paint It, Black" by the Rolling Stones, and an alternate recording of "What to Do". "What to Do" and "Beauville" were released as singles. What to Do was featured in the 2000 DCOM film Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire. It is the first album to feature bassist Craig Wood and drummer Gabe Mantle. The album was described by AllMusic as containing "generally well-executed melodic punk rock in the style common in the 1990s." By December 1999, the album had sold 20,000 copies in Canada.

The Parlotones' early sound was rooted in Britpop, but eventually grew to incorporate a wider spectrum of musical genres. Through the Wilderness is a tribute album with contributions from a variety of artists dedicated to American singer Madonna. It was released on November 27, 2007, by Los Angeles-based Manimal Vinyl Records. According to label head Paul Beahan, the idea for the album was conceived by him in a dream. He enlisted multiple artists to work on the project, including Giant Drag, Lavender Diamond, Winter Flowers and Chapin Sisters. Although he's not a fan of Madonna, Beahan wanted to see how her songs would sound when covered by different musicians.
