[4] A significant moment in Starcraft’s history occurred when Lloyd Bontrager, who later founded Jayco, developed an innovative lifter system for the company’s pop-up campers. [5] [6]

In 1991, Starcraft RV became part of the Jayco Family of Companies through acquisition. Since then, the company has expanded its product lines and operations, solidifying its reputation as a leading RV manufacturer in North America. [7] [8]
