Starke man is a 2010 Swedish comedy series broadcast on SVT. [1] The series focuses on local politics in Svinarp, a fictitious small municipality in the south of Sweden, which the press has branded the second-most boring municipality of Scania in the pilot episode. Much of the series revolves around Lars-Göran Bengtsson, the less-than competent social democrat mayor of Svinarp, who is usually saved from disaster by his disillusioned staff. Starke man was written by Wiktor Ericsson and Anders Jansson with Anders Jansson (as Lars-Göran Bengtsson), Magnus Mark and Anna Blomberg in the main roles.

The first episode was broadcast on 26 September 2010. The second season was broadcast in 2011. [1]

The series was filmed in Kävlinge, Sweden. [2]

The fifth season of Swedish Idol premiered on 3 September 2008 and continued until its grand finale on 12 December, when 22-year-old Kevin Borg was crowned winner. It was the first season to feature new judges Laila Bagge, Anders Bagge and Andreas Carlsson, a move that made it the first Idol series in the world to completely replace its judging panel. The series took advantage of guest judges including Charlotte Perrelli, Desmond Child and Cyndi Lauper, and the final 3 results show featured a performance by Leona Lewis, who sang "Forgive Me". For the second year running, the grand finale was held in Stockholm's Globen Arena with a live audience of 16,000 people, where operatic group Il Divo also sang live. Season 5 of Swedish Idol marked only the second time in worldwide Idol history where neither of the final two contestants were born in the show's home country. Winner Kevin Borg was born in Malta and runner-up Alice Svensson was born in Vietnam. The only other Idol contest to have this occur was Greece's Super Idol in 2004.

Stall-Erik och snapphanarna is a Swedish film project directed by and starring Anders Olofsson. The narrative is set between 1658 and the early 18th century and tells the story of the snapphanar, a pro-Danish guerrilla movement that fought against Sweden in the 17th century. Olofsson, an amateur filmmaker who works as a cleaner by day, began to shoot the film in 1996. His ability to recruit many established actors, as well as the long production process, has received publicity in several regional and national newspapers. The film was set to be finished in 2020. However, in early 2020, Olofsson set a goal to involve 100 celebrities in the film, and thus revised his estimated completion time to 2025.
