Stefanie Mach is a former Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives. Mach was involved in a car accident in her teens that left her companion dead and her with life-altering injuries. In addition to serving in the legislature,Mach also operates CM Concordia Consulting,which specializes in non-profit and political consulting to address societal problems and positively impact communities. The 2012 United States Senate elections were held on November 6,2012,with 33 of the 100 seats in the Senate,all Class 1 seats,being contested in regular elections whose winners would serve 6-year terms beginning January 3,2013,with the 113th Congress. Democrats had 21 seats up for election,plus 1 Independent,and 1 Independent Democrat,while the Republicans only had 10 seats up for election. The presidential election,elections to the House of Representatives,elections for governors in 14 states and territories,and many state and local elections were also held on the same day.
The 2007 Kentucky elections for the statewide offices of governor,lieutenant governor,attorney general,auditor of public accounts,commissioner of agriculture,secretary of state,and state treasurer were held on November 6,2007. All incumbents were reelected with the exception of incumbent governor Ernie Fletcher,who was defeated in his reelection bid for governor by former Lieutenant Governor Steve Beshear. In addition,Democrats held the open Attorney General and State Treasurer posts.

Among the 100 seats,the 33 of Class 1 were contested in regular elections while 2 others were contested in special elections due to Senate vacancies in Minnesota and Mississippi. The regular election winners were elected to 6-year terms running from January 3,2019,to January 3,2025. Senate Democrats had 26 seats up for election,while Senate Republicans had 9 seats up for election.
