Stellar Works [1] [2] [3] [4] is a furniture brand based in Shanghai. Yuichiro Hori [5] [6] [7] is the founder and CEO with creative direction by Neri&Hu [8] architects Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu.

Overview

Stellar Works was established and launched at Salone del Mobile in 2012. The company manufactures dining chairs, lounge chairs, stools, bar chairs, benches, tables, cabinets, shelving, carts, ottomans, beds, lighting and accessories for both commercial and residential sectors. Stellar Works also manufactures re-issued designs by Jens Risom, Vilhelm Wolhert, and Carlo Forcolini. [9] [10]

Stellar Works has supplied furniture for hospitality projects as well as cultural venues such as the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. [11] [12] [13]

Stellar Works’s products have won awards including Wallpaper* Smart Space Awards [14] (2021), Best of Year by Interior Design Magazine (2020), [15] Archiproducts Awards [16] (2018) and Wallpaper* Design Awards [17] (2017).

The Times says he is "a furniture designer and decorating mastermind" and also mentions his famous clients. Financial TimesHow To Spend It magazine said "his baroque-meets-pop art style is making grand statements in an ever-widening circle of homes." Living Etc magazine describes Sultana's style as "luxurious, bespoke-driven and sumptuous". In 2018 Sultana was made Ambassador of Culture for Malta. He was named as one of the Top 20 interior designers by Wallpaper magazine and Top 100 Interior Designers by House & Garden magazine. He writes a monthly arts and culture column for Times of Malta

Bethan Laura Wood she is an internationally-recognised English designer of jewellery, furniture, decorative objects, lighting and installations. She has designed for such media as glass, laminates and ceramics. Work produced by her studio, WOOD London, is characterised by colour, geometry and visual metaphor, pattern and marquetry. She has been described as "[re-contextualizing] ... elements from everyday objects, often focusing on the pattern and coloration of objects as indicators of their origins, production, and past usage."

Inimfon "Ini" Joshua Archibong is an industrial designer, creative director, artist and musician who is active in product design, furniture design, environmental design, architecture, watch design, and fashion.

Rossana Hu, also known as Hu Rushan, is an architect and interior designer who works in China and was born and raised in Taiwan. Hu is a partner in Neri & Hu, a design and research organization in Shanghai founded in 2004.

Maria Cristina Didero is an Italian curator, historian, author, and design scholar. She is curatorial director for Design Miami. Didero is quoted as saying that, "Design is all about people, not about chairs."
