Stephen-Argyle Central School District #2856 (commonly shortened to Stephen-Argyle or SAC) is a school district located in northwest Minnesota, United States. The school district consists of the elementary located in Argyle (preschool through 6th Grade)and the high school, which is located in Stephen.(7th through 12th grade) Stephen-Argyle is well known for its athletics, particularly football.
Before the schools of Argyle and Stephen consolidated in 1996, the schools shared faculty beginning in the early 1980s. [1] Positions such as counselor, learning disabled instructor, and speech therapist were the first to be shared. In 1990, the elementary principal and librarian were shared. Sharing health and physical education teachers began in 1991. Plans for consolidation began during the period of 1989 to 1995 when the school boards met and public meetings were held in both cities. [1] In 1996, the two school districts joined under the name Stephen-Argyle Central.
Stephen-Argyle is notable for its outstanding scores on standardized tests. [2] [3] Average class sizes are 14.38 per section for kindergarten through third grade and 18.75 per section for seventh through twelfth grade. [4] College-in-the-high-school courses are offered. [4] The school also has its own newspaper, the Storm Watch'.
Athletics are a major part of Stephen-Argyle. In the fall, football and Volleyball is offered. Boys' and Girls' Basketball is available in winter, and Baseball, Track, and Golf in the spring. The school does not charge a fee for participating in sports. The fee is covered by the sports boosters group. [4] The football team set a state record for most consecutive wins.
The football field is located in Argyle. Volleyball and Boys Basketball are located at the big gym at the Stephen site and Girls Basketball is located at the New Gym at the Argyle site.
They have a coop with Warren-Alvarado-Oslo for Track, Cross Country, Softball, baseball, and golf.
Track is located at WAO High School Football field in Warren, Cross Country is located at Warren Riverside Golf Course, Baseball is located at Lynn Swanson Memorial Ballpark in Argyle, softball is located at the Warren Softball complex, and golf is split between Riverside Golf Course in Stephen and Warren Riverside Golf Course.
Pasadena High School is the first established high school in Pasadena, Texas, located along Texas State Highway 225. It serves grades 9th through 12 and is part of the Pasadena Independent School District. The principal is Mrs. Laura Gomez. Pasadena High School's mascot is an eagle named "Baldy". The school colors are green and white.
North Allegheny Senior High School (NASH) is a suburban high school in the North Allegheny School District and is located in Wexford, Pennsylvania, a northern suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The current building was built in 1974. In 2013, enrollment was 1,277 pupils in grades 11th and 12th, with 3% of pupils from a low income home. In 2013, North Allegheny Senior High School employed 98 teachers. The feeder school is North Allegheny Intermediate High School which provides grades 9th and 10th.

Harrison Central Junior/Senior High School is located in Cadiz, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Harrison Hills City School District. Their mascot is the Huskies and they compete in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.
