Life & career

He was the CFO of IDT Corp from 1995 to 2006, and again from 2007 to 2012. In April 2019, about the time of the indictment and fraud charges, Stephen Brown resigned from the IDW board, where he was serving as the Vice Chairman. [1]   There was no public announcement of his resignation at that time or since.  This is in contrast to when he joined the IDW board. [2] Steve had been the CFO of Nanovibronix since October 5, 2020, he previously served in that same position from February 3, 2015, through April 30, 2019. [3]

Criminal cases

Stephen has been the subject of criminal and civil actions in the both the State of NY and the State of Arizona. [4] [5]

Menaged case

On April 2, 2019, Brown was indicted, in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona on one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and two counts of fraud.  His indicted co-conspirator in this case, was Joseph Menaged, the father of reality TV star, Yomtov Scott Menaged. Menaged's case was featured on American Greed in 2019,  Yomtov was indicted on 24 charges and sentenced to 17 years in prison. Cardis case

On December 21, 2018, the People of the State of NY brought a civil action action against Stephen Brown, amongst others, for drafting and sending  “investor update letters, which contained a host of false statements and omissions” for Cardis NV. Investors in Cardis lost over $30 million. [7]

Claud Roderick "Rick" Koerber is an American man born in Casper, Wyoming who was convicted in federal court on charges of orchestrating and running a $100 million Ponzi scheme, one of the largest in Utah's history. Koerber took in $100 million from 2004 to 2008 by promising his victims returns of 24% to 60% annually, but spent $50 million on Ponzi payments to prior investors, and also bought luxury items to give his scheme an appearance of profitability.

Steven Stenger is an American attorney and a former Democratic politician. He served as County Executive of St. Louis County, Missouri from January 2015 to April 2019. He resigned his position in April 2019 after being federally indicted on honest services bribery and mail fraud charges.

Samuel "Mouli" Cohen

Samuel "Mouli" Cohen is an Israeli-American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and convicted fraudster who claimed to have held the positions of president, chairman, and CEO of several public and private video game companies which, according to Cohen, "have generated over $3 Billion in shareholder value". The companies Cohen has been involved in since the 1980s include: Playnet Technologies, Voltage Capital, LAMIA, Aristo International and Ecast. In April 2012, Cohen was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for a conviction on 15 counts of wire fraud, 11 counts of money laundering and three counts of tax evasion. He is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence at Terminal Island Federal Correctional Institution.
