The Warrington Wolves are a professional rugby league club based in Warrington, England, that competes in the Super League. They play rugby at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, having moved there from Wilderspool in 2004.
The Swinton Lions are a professional rugby league club based in Swinton, Greater Manchester, England, which competes in the Championship. The club has won the Championship six times and three Challenge Cups. Before 1996, the club was known simply as Swinton.
Jim Sullivan was a Welsh rugby league player, and coach. Sullivan joined Wigan in June 1921 after starting his career in rugby union. A a right-footed toe-end style goal-kicking fullback, he scored 4,883 points in a career that spanned 25 years with Wigan, and still holds several records with the club today.
Paul Cullen was an English professional rugby league football coach and former player. He was the Director of Rugby at Widnes Vikings of the Super League after being the club's head coach prior to promotion from the Championship. Cullen previously coached the Warrington Wolves as well as England. He also provides commentary for Sky Sports rugby league coverage.
Alexander James Murphy OBE is an English former professional rugby league footballer, and coach of the mid to late 20th century. Known as 'Murphy the Mouth' and regarded as one of the greatest halfbacks in the history of the British game, he represented Great Britain in 27 Tests and his club career was played at three clubs, St. Helens, Leigh and Warrington. Murphy assumed a player-coach role of the last two clubs and expanded his coaching role toward the end of his playing career to include clubs such as Wigan, Salford and Huddersfield. He later returned to both Warrington and Leigh respectively as a football manager. He was the first player to captain three different clubs to victory in the Challenge Cup Final.
Richard James Green is a former English cricketer who played 31 matches for Lancashire between 1995 and 2000 mainly as a fast medium bowler and won the coveted NBC Denis Compton Award, which is given to the most promising young player at each of the 18 English first-class counties, in 1996. Green also represented England at junior levels on several occasions. He was born in Warrington, Cheshire. For a number of years, Green has played for Cheshire side Grappenhall, occasionally alongside former teammates Steven Titchard and Neil Fairbrother. He is the team's star batsman and never bowls, presumably because of an injury that may also have played its part in the early conclusion of his county career,
Thomas Kelvin Coslett is a Welsh former dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s and 1970s, and coached rugby league in the 1970s and 1980s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Aberavon RFC and Llanelli RFC, as a goal-kicking full-back, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales and Other Nationalities, and at club level for St. Helens (captain), and Rochdale Hornets, as a toe-end kicking style goal-kicking fullback, prop, second-row, or loose forward, i.e. number 1, 8 or 10, 11 or 12, or 13, and coached at club level for Rochdale Hornets, Wigan and St. Helens.
Stephen "Steve" John Molloy Nickname "Big Face", is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s, and coached in the 2000s. He played at representative level for Great Britain and England, and at club level for Warrington, Leeds, Featherstone Rovers (captain), Sheffield Eagles, Oldham, Huddersfield-Sheffield Giants, Huddersfield Giants and Batley Bulldogs, as a prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, and coached at club level for Oldham. Steve is the current Head Coach of the ambitious Manchester Rangers RLFC who are currently working on plans to enter the semi-professional & professional ranks in the near future.

He played at representative level for Great Britain and Lancashire, and at club level for Warrington, Springfield Borough and Barrow, as a second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, and coached at club level for Chorley Borough and Rochdale Hornets.
Shaun David Wane is an English rugby league and rugby union coach, and former professional rugby league footballer. He is currently the head coach for the England national rugby league team, and is the former head coach of the Wigan Warriors from 2011 to 2018, where he won 3 Super League Grand Finals. He enjoys talking at Leigh Sports Village about his whole life story about being the world record holder for the person who has ate the most pies in the globe. Wane is currently on a diet programme and had a PT, however it was circulated Shaun said some inappropriate words and actions whilst on his sessions. The Personal Trainer is taking Shaun to court over this in which he will have to face a trial. Wane made a statement regarding this, in which he strongly denied all allegations made about him.

He played at representative level for New Zealand, New Zealand Māori, Auckland, Central Districts and Wellington, and professionally at club level for Widnes, Warrington and Salford, Chorley Borough in the forwards. He has coached the New Zealand Māori, and professionally for Salford, Chorley Borough/Lancashire Lynx, British Army Rugby League and Whitehaven. He is the cousin of fellow international Howie Tamati.

North West Thunder, commonly referred to as Thunder, are a women's cricket team that represent Lancashire and North West England, one of eight regional hubs in English domestic women's cricket. The 2016 season was Lancashire Thunder's first season, in which they competed in the Women's Cricket Super League, a Twenty20 competition. The side finished bottom of the group stage, winning one of their five matches.
