Steven John Baumgartner (born March 26, 1951) is a former professional American football player who played defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played for the New Orleans Saints from 1973 to 1977 and the Houston Oilers from 1977 to 1979. [1]

Stanwood Fulton Baumgartner was an American Major League Baseball pitcher who became a longtime sportswriter in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born in Houston and raised in Chicago, Baumgartner played for the Philadelphia Phillies of the National League from 1914 to 1916 and from 1921 through early 1922. Then he played for Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics of the American League from 1924 to 1926. In all, he worked in 143 major league games and won 26 of 47 decisions, for a winning percentage of .553.

Hubert Baumgartner is an Austrian former football player and manager. As a player, Baumgartner played professionally as a goalkeeper in both Austria and Spain; he also played at international level and was a squad member at the 1978 FIFA World Cup. After retiring as a player, Baumgartner became a football manager.
