Steve Borst is an American television writer and producer. For his work on Mad , he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program in 2012. [1] He co-created Nickelodeon's Breadwinners with Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele. His inspiration for the field of animation was CatDog [2] from the network that produced Hey Dude and Double Dare that he grew up watching, Nickelodeon. [3]
Steve Borst lived in New York in 2003 when he became a writer and later head writer for Nick Creative Advertising , [4] working on commercials, corporate presentations, live events, network branding, online commercials, on-air promos, print advertisements, promotional material, and public service announcements. Ever since he moved to Los Angeles in 2009, he has written episodes for Mad and Teen Titans Go! for Cartoon Network. He was head writer for Captain Cornelius Cartoon's Cartoon Lagoon in 2012. He co-created Breadwinners alongside Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele from when they met at Burbank while working on Mad. [5]

It was founded in 1982 by producer Arlene Klasky and her husband, Hungarian animator Gábor Csupó in a spare room of their apartment and grew to 550 artists, creative workers and staff in an animation facility in Hollywood.
Rocko's Modern Life is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray for Nickelodeon. The series centers on the surreal life of an anthropomorphic Australian immigrant wallaby named Rocko and his friends: the eccentric steer Heffer Wolfe, the neurotic turtle Filburt, and Rocko's faithful dog Spunky. It is set in the fictional town of O-Town. Throughout its run to present day, this show was infamously laden for its adult humor, including double entendre, innuendo, and satirical social commentary, similar to The Ren & Stimpy Show. My Life as a Teenage Robot is an American animated science fiction superhero comedy television series created by Rob Renzetti for Nickelodeon. He is best known for creating the animated television series Codename: Kids Next Door. He also created the animated short Kenny and the Chimp. Lawrence "Larry" Huber is an American television producer, writer, and animator who is known for his long history as a producer at Hanna-Barbera, Ruby-Spears, and Nickelodeon. Huber began his animation career in 1969 while working on Hanna-Barbera's The Perils of Penelope Pitstop. He went on to work for Ruby-Spears for 15 years. Returning to Hanna-Barbera in 1990, Huber worked on 2 Stupid Dogs and Fish Police. He was hired by Buzz Potamkin to supervise production on Cartoon Network's World Premiere Toons in 1995.
Breadwinners is an American animated television series created by Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele and Steve Borst and developed by Bill Braudis for Nickelodeon. The series is about two ducks named SwaySway and Buhdeuce who run a bread delivery company around Pondgea, the show's world.
Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Program is a variety project that was launched in 2012, where people make animated shorts at Nickelodeon Animation Studio for shows to send to Nickelodeon and the Nick Jr. Channel. Since this project was launched, the TV series Breadwinners started in 2014, along with The Loud House in 2016, and the short-form series MooseBox and Sharkdog in 2018.
