Steve Dehler (born March 21, 1950) is an American politician and businessman.
Born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Dehler attended the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University where he studied accounting and economics. He was a retail grocer/correctional officer/dispatcher. He served on the St. Joseph, Minnesota city council and as mayor. From 1993 to 2002, he served in the Minnesota House of Representatives as a Republican. In 2012, he lost a primary election for Hennepin County, Minnesota commissioner. His uncle, Sylvester Uphus, and a cousin, Ken Otremba, also served in the Minnesota Legislature, the former as an Independent Republican, and the latter as a Democrat. [1] [2]

John Paul Kline Jr. is an American politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Minnesota's 2nd congressional district from 2003 to 2017. The district included most of the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities. A member of the Republican Party, Kline served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce from 2011 until 2017. Kline retired from Congress at the end of his term in January of 2017.
James Louis Oberstar was an American politician who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 2011. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, he represented northeastern Minnesota's 8th congressional district, which included the cities of Duluth, Brainerd, Grand Rapids, International Falls, and Hibbing. He was chair of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee from 2007 to 2011, and ranking minority member before that. In November 2010, he was defeated by a margin of 4,407 votes by Republican Chip Cravaack. He is the longest-serving United States House of Representatives member from Minnesota.
Timothy James Walz is an American politician, former U.S. Army non-commissioned officer, and retired educator who has served as the 41st governor of Minnesota since 2019. A member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Minnesota's 1st congressional district from 2007 to 2019.

A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he last represented District 45A, which included portions of Hennepin County in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. He is also a retired teacher and coach, having taught at Henry High School in Minneapolis for many years. Carlson is the longest-serving state legislator in Minnesota history.
