Steve Scoffham (born 12 July 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. [1] [2]
Born in Münster, West Germany, to British parents in the armed forces, Scoffham grew up in Nottingham. [3] He attended Chilwell Comprehensive School (Chilwell Olympia).
Scoffham began his career at Gedling Town F.C after scoring 79 goals in 101 appearances.
Steve Scoffham joined Notts County from Gedling Town. [3] He then went on to score 45 goals in 76 games for the Magpies. Following the 2005-2006 season, he was released by the new County manager Steve Thompson.
Scoffham joined Burton Albion in the summer of 2006 on a free transfer. During November 2006, he was loaned to Alfreton Town where he was reunited with Gary Mills.
Steve Scoffham retired after breaking his leg on two occasions. It was announced on 22 September 2007 that he had signed for local amateur club Attenborough.[ citation needed ]
