Steve Watson is the current director of athletics for Loyola University Chicago. [1] [2] He previously served as athletic director at St. Bonaventure University from 2006 to 2014, [3] [4] [5] and as an associate athletic director at Eastern Michigan University from 2001 to 2006. Watson attended college at Rutgers University and Bowling Green State University, where he played on both school's college basketball teams. [6] Watson was named athletic director at Loyola University Chicago on November 12, 2014, and brought on his very close friend Kate Achter to be the new head women's basketball coach in 2016. In 2012, a group of trustees and administrators of DePaul University was asked by the Archdiocese of Chicago and the priests and brothers of the Congregation of the Resurrection to assist Gordon Tech High School. As the academic partnership with DePaul University progressed, the school became DePaul College Prep in 2014.

The Chicago Catholic League (CCL) is a high school athletic conference based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. All of the schools are part of the Illinois High School Association, the governing body for Illinois scholastic sports. While some of the schools are coeducational institutions, the conference only supports athletics for male teams.

Buffalo Bulls Intercollegiate sports teams of the University at Buffalo

The Buffalo Bulls are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University at Buffalo (UB) in Buffalo, New York. The Bulls compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level as a member of Mid-American Conference (MAC) East Division, having joined the conference in 1998. Loyola Ramblers

The Loyola Ramblers are the varsity sports teams of Loyola University Chicago. Most teams compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference, which the school joined in 2022 after leaving the Missouri Valley Conference. They previously played in the Horizon League. Notable athletes from Loyola have included middle-distance runner Tom O'Hara, volleyball player Thomas Jaeschke, and basketball players Mike Novak, Jerry Harkness, Les Hunter, Wayne Sappleton, Alfredrick Hughes, LaRue Martin, and Blake Schilb. The nickname "Ramblers" was first used in 1926. The Loyola Ramblers will depart the Missouri Valley Conference and join the Atlantic 10 Conference effective July 1, 2022.

Canisius Golden Griffins Intercollegiate sports teams of Canisius College

The Canisius College Golden Griffins are composed of 16 teams representing Canisius College in intercollegiate athletics. These teams include men's and women's basketball, cross country, track, lacrosse, soccer, and swimming and diving. Men's sports include baseball, ice hockey, and golf. Women's sports include volleyball, soccer, and softball. The Golden Griffins compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) for most sports, excluding men's ice hockey which competes in Atlantic Hockey.

The Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team represents Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. The Ramblers participate as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Ramblers joined the Missouri Valley Conference from 2013 to 2022, ending a 34-season tenure as charter members of the Horizon League.

Porter Andrew Moser is a college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the University of Oklahoma men's basketball team. Moser spent 10 years (2011–2021) at Loyola University Chicago, helping lead the Ramblers to the Final Four in 2018.

Danny White (athletic director) American athletic director

Daniel J. White is an American university sports administrator. He is the athletic director for the Tennessee Volunteers. White held the same position at the University at Buffalo from 2012 to 2015 and the University of Central Florida from 2015 to 2021. Prior to his tenure at Buffalo, he served as the senior associate athletic director for Ole Miss.

Claude Allen Greene IV, is the current director of athletics for Auburn University. He previously served as athletic director for the University at Buffalo, and as assistant athletic director for the University of Mississippi. Greene attended college at the University of Notre Dame, and was a two-year starter on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team. He was a ninth-round draft pick of the New York Yankees in the 1998 Major League Baseball draft, and went on to a four-year career in the minor leagues for the Yankees, playing for the Oneonta Yankees, Greensboro Bats, Tampa Yankees, and Elmira Pioneers. He grew up in Bellevue, Washington and attended O'Dea High School in Seattle, playing baseball and basketball, graduating 1995.

Tim Kenney is an American college athletics administrator and former basketball coach. Kenney served as athletic director at St. Bonaventure University from 2015 to 2021. He previously served as assistant athletic director at Stony Brook University from 1997 to 2004, and as associate athletic director at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2004 to 2015. Kenney attended college at the University at Buffalo, where he was an All-American breaststroker on the Buffalo Bulls swimming team. Kenney credits his swimming career success to his mentor, Stewart ‘Clams’ Karp, who he trained with during his youth in Dix Hills, Long Island. Kenney later served as an assistant basketball coach on the Stony Brook Seawolves men's basketball team from 1995 to 1996, prior to beginning his career in athletic administration. Kenney was named athletic director at St. Bonaventure University on March 10, 2015. Kenney left St. Bonaventure on May 31, 2021, when his contract expired and was not renewed.

Clayton Custer is an American former basketball player. A 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) point guard, he played college basketball for Loyola University Chicago, and was the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year. Custer briefly played professional basketball for Śląsk Wroclaw of the Polish Basketball League. He then became the Director of Player Development for Loyola's men's team, and later for Oklahoma.

Sister Jean, BVM, is an American religious sister of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and chaplain for the Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team of Loyola University Chicago.

Marques Townes Dominican-American basketball player

Marques Townes is a Dominican-American basketball player for Tours Métropole Basket of the LNB Pro B. He played college basketball for the Loyola Ramblers, after beginning his career with Fairleigh Dickinson. A native of Edison, New Jersey, he attended Cardinal McCarrick High School and St. Joseph High School, where he played both basketball and football. Entering the college level, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound guard was a three-star basketball recruit. He drew national attention after helping the Ramblers reach the Final Four round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

Bill Bradshaw is a former American college athletics administrator. He served as athletic director at La Salle University from 1978 to 1986, DePaul University from 1986 to 2002, Temple University from 2002 to 2013, and again at La Salle University from 2016 to 2019. Bradshaw attended college at La Salle University, where he played on the school's baseball team. Bradshaw was named interim athletic director at La Salle on March 9, 2016, before being named permanent athletic director on March 28, 2017. Bradshaw retired as athletic director at La Salle on June 30, 2019.

Joe Manhertz is the current director of athletics for St. Bonaventure University. He previously served as associate athletic director at Duke University from 2010 to 2021, and in various administrative roles at the Ohio State University, Hamilton College, Syracuse University, and Colgate University. Manhertz grew up in Fairport, New York, and attended college at Colgate University, where he played college football and college basketball on the school's football and basketball teams. Manhertz was named athletic director at St. Bonaventure University on August 19, 2021.
