Steve Witt (born 10 June 1982) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s. Witt played all of his top-level rugby league for the Newcastle Knights.
Witt was born in Toowoomba, Queensland. Witt played junior football for the Parramatta Eels with his younger brother Michael. Never making first-grade for the Eels.
Witt made his NRL debut on 10 April 2004. Witt went on to play in 19 matches over two seasons for the Knights. [2]

Michael Hagan is an Australian professional rugby league football coach and former player. He currently works as an assistant coach under Mal Meninga for the Australian rugby league team. A Queensland State of Origin representative half, he played his club football in Australia with Canterbury-Bankstown and Newcastle, as well as in England with Halifax. He went on to have a successful coaching career with Newcastle and Parramatta, and was also selected to coach the Queensland Maroons for two State of Origin series before becoming Meninga's assistant coach. Hagan was inducted into the Newcastle Knights Hall of Fame in April 2012.
Timana James Aporo Tahu is an Australian former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer. He last played for Denver Stampede in the US PRO Rugby competition. A dual-code international representative three-quarter back for Australia's Kangaroos and then the Wallabies, he could also play second-row and played for New South Wales in State of Origin. Tahu started his career in the National Rugby League for the Newcastle Knights, with whom he won the 2001 NRL Premiership before moving to the Parramatta Eels. He then played for the New South Wales Waratahs in the Super Rugby competition. Tahu returned to the NRL with the Eels and then the Penrith Panthers before finishing his NRL career where it started with the Newcastle Knights.
