Steven Miller (born March 23, 1991) is a Canadian football running back who is currently a free agent. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League from 2014 to 2015. He also played American football for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League.
Miller grew up in Piscataway, New Jersey and attended Piscataway Township High School where he played high school football for the Chiefs, graduating in 2009. [1] In 2008, he ran for 1,322 yards and 20 touchdowns. [2] The Chiefs won the 2008 North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 championship in his senior year. [3]
Miller played college football for Nassau Community College in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, he won Northeast JC Football Conference Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year and helped lead Nassau to the conference championship. [4] [5] He recorded 1,180 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns in his final year with Nassau. In 2011, he transferred to Appalachian State where he played for the Mountaineers. [3] In his senior year, he rushed for over 1,368 yards on 239 carries and 11 touchdowns. Additionally, he recorded 34 receptions for 377 yards and an additional four touchdowns. [6]
In April 2013, Miller was signed to the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent. [6] He spent 2013 on the Lions' practice squad, and was cut in 2014 after playing in three preseason games. [7]
Miller was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in October 2014. He played in two regular season games and a post-season game. In the regular season, he ran for 68 yards on 12 carries and acted as a kickoff returner. [3]

He was originally signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) as an undrafted free agent in 2001. He played college football for the Illinois State Redbirds and high school football at Detroit St. Martin de Porres. Glenn is a journeyman quarterback who is the only player to ever have had his rights held by every team in the CFL.
Kory Gerren Sheets is a former American football running back. He played college football at Purdue and he was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Darian Bernard Durant is a former professional Canadian football quarterback. He played college football at the University of North Carolina. By the end of his college career, he held school records for completion percentage, touchdowns, passing yards, total offense and completions. Durant was signed as a free agent by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2006, and became the club's full-time starting quarterback in 2009. He was named a CFL West Division All-Star in 2009 and 2013. Durant was the starting quarterback when the Saskatchewan Roughriders won the 101st Grey Cup in 2013 on their home field. Durant also played for the Montreal Alouettes in 2017. His brother Justin played in the National Football League as a linebacker.

Zachary J. Collaros is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Collaros won the 107th Grey Cup and 108th Grey Cup as the starting quarterback with the Blue Bombers when they defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in both games. He had previously won the Grey Cup as the backup quarterback with the Toronto Argonauts in the 100th Grey Cup. Collaros played football at the University of Cincinnati, and has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts.
Jerome Messam is a former professional Canadian football running back who played in nine seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for five teams. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the BC Lions. After being traded to the Edmonton Eskimos, he became the seventh Canadian running back since 1955 and the first since 2000 to rush for over 1,000 yards while also winning the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award. He won the award again in 2016 and was also the Grey Cup's Most Valuable Canadian in 2017. He is a two-time CFL All-Star and three-time CFL West All-Star. Messam played college football for Graceland University.
