Stewart Bruce (born 2 April 1969) is a former Scottish cricketer. Bruce was a left-handed batsman who bowled left-arm fast-medium. He was born at Edinburgh, Midlothian.

Bruce played two matches for Huntingdonshire in the 2002 MCCA Knockout Trophy against Lincolnshire and the Leicestershire Cricket Board. [1] He later made two List A appearances for Scotland in the 2004 totesport League against Worcestershire and Sussex. [2] In the match against Worcestershire he took the wickets of Vikram Solanki and Gareth Batty, finishing with figures of 2/28 from three overs. He wasn't required to bat in this match, with Worcestershire winning by 9 runs. [3] The match against Scotland ended in no result, with Bruce not required to bat or bowl. [4] In 2004, Bruce also played for a Scotland XI in the European Cricket Championship Division One.

Worcestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Worcestershire. Its Vitality Blast T20 team - who are the defending champions after claiming their first title in 2018 - has been rebranded the Worcestershire Rapids, but the county is known by most fans as ’the Pears’. The club is based at New Road, Worcester. Founded in 1865, Worcestershire held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship in the 1890s, winning the competition three times. This was followed by a tri-nations one-day tournament that also featured Australia. Australia still started the Test series as favourites but most fans expected England to put up a challenge.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 2005 was the cricket season when the English club Derbyshire had been playing for one hundred and thirty-five years. They reached the semi-final in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy. In the County Championship, they finished ninth in the second division and in the National League, they finished sixth in the second division. They were eliminated at group level in the North section of the Twenty20 Cup.

The Scottish Saltires in 2005 are playing in the Second Division of the totesport League, in what will be their last season in the English one-day league. They will also compete for a World Cup place in the ICC Trophy and in the first-class ICC Intercontinental Cup.

Steven Joseph "Steve" O'Shaughnessy is a former English professional cricketer who played for Lancashire and Worcestershire in the 1980s, and then had a substantial career in Minor Counties cricket with Cumberland. Since retiring from playing, he has become an umpire, and was promoted in December 2010 to the first-class panel for the 2011 season.

The ECB40, last known as the Yorkshire Bank 40 (YB40) for sponsorship reasons, was a forty-over limited overs cricket competition for the English first-class counties. It began in the 2010 English cricket season as a replacement for the Pro40 and Friends Provident Trophy competitions. Yorkshire Bank were the last sponsors, taking over the naming rights from their parent company Clydesdale Bank for the 2013 edition. Warwickshire won the inaugural tournament.
