In 2016, he followed up with his second album, Malibu, which received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album, followed by his third album, Oxnard (2018). "Save Me" is a song by South Korean boy group BTS from their compilation album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever (2016). The original Korean version was released by Big Hit on May 2, 2016, in South Korea. The Japanese single version was released on September 7, 2016, on their album Youth, under Universal Music Japan and Virgin Music-Def Jam Recordings. The song is widely considered as one of the group’s signature songs.

Indigo is the debut studio album by South Korean rapper RM of BTS, released on December 2, 2022, through Big Hit Music. The album marks the rapper's first full-length body of work since Mono (2018) and serves as a documentation or archive of his late twenties. Comprising 10 tracks, it includes appearances by Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, Tablo of Epik High, Kim Sa-wol, Paul Blanco, Mahalia, Colde, Youjeen of Cherry Filter, and Park Ji-yoon. The ninth track, "Wild Flower", a collaboration with Youjeen, was released alongside the album as its lead single, together with an accompanying music video.

"Sexy Nukim", is a song by the South Korean music collective Balming Tiger featuring RM of BTS. It was co-written by group members BJ Wnjn, Omega Sapien, and Mudd the Student, who appear on the track, and RM. Groupmate San Yawn produced the track alongside BJ Wnjn. Released as a digital single on September 1, 2022, the song is the group's first new music since 2021's "Loop", and their first to feature another artist.
