Stoller Middle School (SMS) is a public middle school in Beaverton, Oregon educating grades 6-8. It is one of the newest middle schools in the Beaverton School District. It is one of the largest middle schools in the state of Oregon.
Stoller Middle School was constructed on a 120,000 square foot lot in 1997, on the site of the abandoned Stoller family farm that BSD purchased. The Wismer farm just north of the school was also abandoned and Jacob Wismer Elementary was constructed on the plot in 2001. [3] The combined property also contains a small park with a lake.
In 2015, a student won the national history spelling bee and went on to compete in the international spelling bee. [4]
In the 2018-2019 school year, the student enrollment reached a peak of 1,594, making it the largest traditional middle school in the state of Oregon. [5] This obviously made the school extremely overcrowded and the number went down to around 900 after the opening of the nearby Tumwater Middle School in 2021. [6] SMS is now the eighth biggest traditional middle school in Oregon.
On November 30, 2018, a threat against SMS was e-mailed to the administration at BSD. The school was under lockdown for several hours until police officers searched the school and ruled the threat as a hoax. [7] The following Monday, security measures were put in place and over 200 students were kept at home. [8]

It received its name from a sawmill on Cedar Mill Creek, which cut Western Redcedars that were once the dominant tree in the area. The mill's pond was near the intersection of 119th and Cornell Road, and could still be seen into the 1960s, although the mill itself had ceased operating in 1891. Merlo Station High School is a public high school located in Beaverton, Oregon, United States, which is part of the Beaverton School District (BSD). It is considered an "options" high school, meaning that it houses several different scholarly magnet programs that differ from "traditional" high schools. This allows Merlo Station to meet the many different needs of all its students. The school opened in 1993. One of the option schools that had been at Merlo Station campus since its opening in 1993, the School of Science and Technology, moved at the end of 2015 to a different site, shared with BSD's Health & Science School.
The School of Science and Technology (SST) was an accredited, public high school located in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. It was a magnet program for students who have an interest in mathematics, life and physical sciences, and technology. It is part of the Beaverton School District (BSD). It was established in 1993, as the School of Natural Resources Science and Technology, and later renamed. SST moved at the end of 2015 to expanded and remodeled facilities at a site it shares with BSD's Health and Science School. For the 2020–2021 school year and onward, this school and the neighboring school, the Beaverton Health & Science School have merged to become the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering.

Byron Nelson High School is a public high school located in Trophy Club, Texas about 20 miles (32 km) north of Fort Worth, Texas, in Denton County and opened in August 2009 for the 09–10 school year. It is the second high school in the Northwest Independent School District. The school cost $86.5 million dollars to build. It is approximately 504,000 square feet (46,800 m2), with a 32,000-square-foot (3,000 m2) courtyard in the middle. The academic wing seats a 700-seat cafeteria with a mall-style food court serving layout. It is built along the property of the Army Corps of Engineers, along the edge of where Denton Creek flows into Lake Grapevine at the lake's southwestern corner. In 2013, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. In 2019, Byron Nelson High School earned an "A" according to TEA's school accountability rating system.

The Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering (BASE) is a public school in the U.S. state of Oregon. Part of the Beaverton School District (BSD), the school offers grades 6 through 12. Opened in 2007, the school was housed in the Capital Center at NE 185th Avenue and Walker Road in Hillsboro, then named the Health and Science School (HS2). From 2016 to 2021, the school is directly adjacent to another BSD option school, the School of Science & Technology (SST), with the relocation of that school to the Capital Center at the end of 2015. The school hosts a HOSA-Future Health Professionals chapter. For the 2020–2021 school year and onward, this school and the neighboring school, the School of Science and Technology have merged to become the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering.
