Strange Is This World is the first English-language album by Polish rock artist Niemen. The album was released in 1972 in West Germany on the CBS Records International (the European section of Columbia Records).

SBB is a Polish progressive rock band formed in 1971 in Siemianowice, Upper Silesia. It was made up of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Józef Skrzek, guitarist Apostolis Anthimos, drummer Jerzy Piotrowski, and sound engineer Grzegorz Maniecki. SBB was one of the most popular super-groups in Poland and Europe in the 1970s.
Czesław Niemen, often credited as just Niemen, was one of the most important and original Polish singer-songwriters and rock balladeers of the 20th century, singing mainly in Polish.

Loving You is the first soundtrack album by American rock and roll singer Elvis Presley. It was released by RCA Victor in mono, LPM 1515, in June 1957 to accompany his film, Loving You (1957). Enigmatic is the fourth album by Czesław Niemen, released in 1970. It has been considered by some to be the best Polish rock album ever. Inspired in 1968 by Wojciech Młynarski, Niemen decided to make his new album with Polish poetry as lyrics. Recorded in 1969, the album became very popular and was awarded with a golden record in 1971. As of 2012, the album has sold in excess of 5 million copies around the world and remains very popular.

Mourner's Rhapsody is an English-language album by Czesław Niemen, recorded in 1974 in New York, USA. Michał Urbaniak invited his friends to support Niemen after his earlier band left to re-initialise their own band SBB, which now became short for Search, Breakup and Build, Sound Beyond Borders and similar. The album was released in West Germany (1974), the United Kingdom (1975) and the United States (1976). It was re-released on CD in 1993.
