Streetball Kosova is a traditional streetball tournament held since 2000, organised in the amphitheatre of the swimming pool in Germia Park, Pristina, Kosovo. Streetball Kosova 2014 was the 15th edition in a row without any break.
The interest for the games is large, hundreds of teams and thousands of players have participated. [1] The teams are mixed and of different ages, and the games are viewed by a large number of people.
Streetball Kosova 2005 was the first tournament ever to be organised in the seven major cities of Kosovo.
Streetball Kosova 2006 was the first tournament ever to be organised in New York City, USA.
In 2009 Streetball Kosova participated for the first time in the Prague International Streetball Cup in the Czech Republic. Team Akull Kosova represented the Streetball Kosova in PIS 2010 and placed third.
Streetball Kosova 2012, held on June 9 & 10, applied for the first time FIBA 3x3 rules. The tournament was divided in 3 competing categories; Senior Male, Senior Female and Junior's. Team Kujta won the tournament in the Senior class.

Darren Douglas Phillip is an American professional basketball player. Phillip a.k.a. "Primal Fear" is also a well known streetball player on the basketball courts of the New York City summer leagues. He was the 2000 NCAA Division I men's basketball season rebounding leader.

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Nora Gjakova won gold in the women's judo -57 kg class, and Distria Krasniqi won gold in the women's judo -48 kg class.

The Czech Lacrosse Union, is the governing body of lacrosse in the Czech Republic. It conducts national junior and senior championship tournaments for men and women in field lacrosse, box lacrosse and intercrosse. The Czech Lacrosse Union sends national teams at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, World Lacrosse Championship and Women's Lacrosse World Cup in senior and junior categories.
3×3 basketball is a variation of basketball played three-a-side, with one backboard and in a half-court setup. According to an ESSEC Business School study commissioned by the International Olympic Committee, 3x3 is the largest urban team sport in the world. This basketball game format is currently being promoted and structured by FIBA, the sport's governing body. Its primary competition is an annual FIBA 3X3 World Tour, comprising a series of Masters and one Final tournament, and awarding six-figure prize money in US dollars. The FIBA 3x3 World Cups for men and women are the highest tournaments for national 3x3 teams. The 3x3 format has been adopted for both the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The Kosovo national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Kosovo and is controlled by the Football Federation of Kosovo. The team is considered to be the feeder team for the Kosovo national team.
Prishtina is the epicenter of sport in Kosovo, where activity is organized across amateur and professional levels, sport organizations and clubs, regulated by the Kosovo Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport. Prishtina is known for their success in Sports such as Football, Boxing, Basketball and Futsal. They compete for five seasons in the Yugoslav First League between 1983 and 1988 in which their best finish came in their first ever season in 1983-84 finishing in 8th place. In the same season they reached the Mitropa Cup finals of 1983-84, were FC Prishtina finished Runners up to Eisenstadt from Austria. as well as reaching the semifinals in the Yugoslav Cup in 1987-88.
Laura Yihan Zeng is an American former individual rhythmic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She swept all of the events at the 2015 Pan American Games and at the 2018 Pan American Championships. She is the 2014 Youth Olympic and 2019 Summer Universiade all-around bronze medalist and the 2019 Grand Prix Final hoop bronze medalist. She is an eight-time national all-around champion, six times at the senior level and twice at the junior level (2013-14).
The FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1970 they have been awarded every four years. The current champions are the Serbia, which won their second title at the 2022 tournament in Netherlands and Poland.
