Strikeforce: Payback was a mixed martial arts event held on October 3, 2008. The event was produced by Strikeforce and took place at the Broomfield Events Center in Broomfield, Colorado. [1] It marks the first time Strikeforce has held an event in Colorado and the main event featured a rematch between Duane Ludwig and Sammy Morgan.
Pat Barry was set to face Andre Walker at the event [2] [3] but instead signed a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and was replaced by Carlos Zevallos in the bout. [4]

Strikeforce was an American mixed martial arts and kickboxing organization based in San Jose, California which operated from 1985 to 2013. It was headed by CEO Scott Coker.
Elite Xtreme Combat, also known as EliteXC, was a United States-based mixed martial arts (MMA) organization owned and operated by ProElite. It was founded as a partnership between Showtime Networks and ProElite and officially announced on December 14, 2006. It was headquartered in Los Angeles.

Kedzie was Greg Jackson's personal assistant at Jackson's Mixed Martial Arts. Kedzie has been working for Invicta Fighting Championships as a fight commentator and interviewer. In December 2013, Kedzie became the new matchmaker for Invicta FC.
