The Student Conference on Conservation Science (in short it is known as SCCS) is a series of conferences conducted in United Kingdom, Australia, China, India, the USA and Hungary. [1] It is largely conducted by the student community in partnership with research and conservation organisations in these countries. [2] It started in 2000 in Cambridge and has hosted over 3400 delegates from 136 countries worldwide. It helps young scientists in conservation gain experience, learn new ideas and create connections that will be useful for their future careers.

Government Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK), Kerala is an engineering institution under the Department of Technical Education in Kerala, India. Located in Westhill Kozhikode of the Malabar region rich in traditions. The Government Engineering College Kozhikode is one of the five Government Engineering Colleges given sanction in the year 1999. Admissions are based on the performance of students in the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance test. The placements at the college has been increasing every year with many students placed as software and systems engineers at MNCs such as Infosys, TCS and many more. It was seven years after its founding, the college shifted to Westhill Kozhikode to its original building. Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) is a 420-acre (170 ha) state prison located in Tuolumne County, California, near the unincorporated community of Jamestown. Programs offered to prisoners include education, firefighting training, and sewing.
National Green Corps is a programme of the Ministry of Environment and Forests of Government of India covering around 1,20,000 schools in India with NGC School Eco Clubs. Environmental activity in schools in India is promoted through the National Green Corps. Each NGC School Eco Club has 30 to 50 NGC Students or NGC Cadets who form the National Green Corps. These NGC Students participate in activities related to Biodiversity Conservation, Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Waste Management and Land Use Planning and Resource Management. Locale specific issues are focused by the NGC Eco Clubs. When young girls and boys from NGC take up the environmental awareness activities and outreach activities, they attract huge public attention which eventually becomes public support for an environmental cause or environmental intervention. Water Harvesting, Plantation, Composting of biodegradable waste are most popular activities in the NGC School Eco Clubs. These NGC School Eco Clubs promote environmental discipline and environmental responsibility through the selected schools in India using environmental awareness as the medium. Each of the 250 districts in India has about 250 NGC Eco Clubs. These NGC Eco Clubs are provided with an annual grant of Rs2500. Each of the Indian State has a State Nodal Officer who implements this programme.
The Australian Society for Fish Biology (ASFB) is a professional organisation of fish and fisheries researchers. Founded in 1971, the society describes itself as a "professional, independent, non-profit, non-commercial and non-aligned organisation." The Australian Society for Fish Biology holds annual conferences for its members, sometimes in partnership with related organisations such as the Oceania Chondrichthyan Society and the Australian Society for Limnology. Former presidents of the society include Hamar Midgley (1977–79), Gerry Allen (1979–81), Julian Pepperell (1991–93) and Bronwyn Gillanders (2012–13).
