Studioseven Recordings was a Japanese record label founded in 2006 which was a subsidiary of Sony Music Records. After its dissolution in 2010, many of its artists were moved to Sony Music Records' gr8! Records label.
The label first came to light when Sony was to release a single for singer/songwriter YUI (it should be Good-bye Days for the movie Midnight Sun ). It was later expanded through Kaoru Amane’s debut single (Taiyou no Uta for the drama version of the movie). Since then, Studioseven Recordings is to take part in co-productions with movies.
In November 2006, the label welcomed Nana-star Yuna Ito and Korean/Japanese star K (who claimed to fame with the theme song for 1 Litre of Tears drama). The label's current chief producer is Yoshio Imano.
The first official release for Studioseven Recordings was the debut album of Yuna Ito, Heart, which sold over 200.000 copies in its first week.
Satsuki Shimabukuro, better known by her stage name Meisa Kuroki, is a Japanese actress, model and singer. She is represented by the agency Sweet Power and is signed to Sony Music Japan. She made her acting debut in 2004. She has modeled for the popular Japanese fashion magazine JJ, among others, and is the current Japanese representative for Epson and Giorgio Armani. She has appeared in numerous television dramas, commercials, films, and stage productions.
Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc., often abbreviated as SMEJ or simply SME, and also known as Sony Music Japan for short, is a Japanese music arm for Sony. Nana 2 is a 2006 Japanese drama film directed by Kentarō Ōtani and adapted from the manga by Ai Yazawa. It is the sequel to the 2005 film Nana. Production for the movie began in mid-September and only one and a half month shootings finished the movie in time for the December 9, 2006 release.
Lee Ayumi, professionally known as Ayumi in South Korea and Yumi Itō in Japan, is a Japanese-born South Korean singer, actress and entertainer based in Japan and South Korea. She debuted under the stage name Ahyoomee in 2001, as the leader and lead vocal of South Korean girl group Sugar until the group's disbandment in 2006. Following the disbandment, Lee embarked on a solo career in South Korea under SM Entertainment, releasing two digital singles. In 2008, she returned to Japan and began an acting career under the Japanese stage name Yumi Itō. In 2009, she debuted as a singer in Japan, under Avex's Rhythm Zone, taking the stage name Iconiq and released a studio album, an EP, and seven digital singles.
Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd., often pronounced Korombia, operating internationally as Nipponophone Co., Ltd., is a Japanese record label founded in 1910 as Nipponophone Co., Ltd. It affiliated itself with the Columbia Graphophone Company of the United Kingdom and adopted the standard UK Columbia trademarks in 1931. The company changed its name to Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. in 1946. It used the Nippon Columbia name until October 1, 2002, when it became Columbia Music Entertainment, Inc.. On October 1, 2010, the company returned to its current name. Outside Japan, the company operated formerly as the Savoy Label Group, which releases recordings on the SLG, Savoy Jazz, and continues to operate as Denon. It also manufactured electronic products under the Denon brand name until 2001. In 2017, Concord Music acquired Savoy Label Group. Nippon Columbia also licensed Hanna-Barbera properties in Japan until those rights were transferred to Turner Japan sometime in 1997. Currently, these rights are owned by Warner Bros. Japan LLC.
Jin Akanishi is a Japanese musician, singer, songwriter and actor. He has been active since 1998 as one of the two lead vocalists of the J-pop boy-band KAT-TUN before starting a solo career in 2009. Akanishi has also acted in several films and dramas.
"A World to Believe In" is a song recorded by Canadian singer Celine Dion, taken from her tenth English-language studio album, Taking Chances (2007). Wish was released in two versions, CD-only and CD-DVD version. In its first week 49,000 copies were sold. Wish has been certified gold by RIAJ for shipment of 100,000 copies in Japan.
Dream is American pop singer Yuna Ito's third Japanese studio album. The album was released on May 27, 2009, under her label Studioseven Recordings. The album was released in two formats: CD-only and a limited CD+DVD version that contains four music videos and the making of the video. The motto of the album is: "If you can dream it, you can do it".

The album was released in three formats: CD-only, a limited CD+DVD version and a 2 CD version. The CD+DVD version contains all her PVs plus a special video. The 2CD version contains an extra CD with English covers that Yuna covered over her career.
" Five " is the second single by the Japanese singer Meisa Kuroki. The single was released in Japan on June 2, 2010 in two editions: CD+DVD and CD only and later added in Meisa's first album Magazine. It ranked #16 on the Oricon Daily Singles Сhart and #23 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Сhart with 4,188 copies sold in first week.
"Bad Girl" is a song by Japanese recording artist Meisa Kuroki from her debut extended play (EP), Hellcat. The song was one of the main tracks used to promote the album. "Bad Girl" was featured in the 2009 film Crows Zero 2, in which Kuroki also appears. A "movie version" of the song was included on the film's soundtrack, released simultaneously with Hellcat on April 8, 2009. The music video for "Bad Girl" was directed by Kensuke Kawamura.

"Silent Majority" is the debut single by the Japanese female idol group Keyakizaka46. It was released in Japan on 6 April 2016 on the label Sony Records.
